From cd250a1898bb6fdb41f4a1063dbcfac04affcd11 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: John Baldwin Date: Tue, 12 Mar 2019 13:39:02 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Update comment for target::get_thread_local_address. There isn't an 'objfile' parameter, instead 'load_module_addr' is used to indicate the executable or shared library. Also, the function throws errors rather than returning error values. gdb/ChangeLog: * target.h (target::get_thread_local_address): Update comment. --- gdb/ChangeLog | 4 ++++ gdb/target.h | 4 ++-- 2 files changed, 6 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/gdb/ChangeLog b/gdb/ChangeLog index f025452546..2edc6d543b 100644 --- a/gdb/ChangeLog +++ b/gdb/ChangeLog @@ -1,3 +1,7 @@ +2019-03-12 John Baldwin + + * target.h (target::get_thread_local_address): Update comment. + 2019-03-12 John Baldwin * solib-svr4.c (svr4_fetch_objfile_link_map): Look for diff --git a/gdb/target.h b/gdb/target.h index c95151a404..5fe6aa74b0 100644 --- a/gdb/target.h +++ b/gdb/target.h @@ -718,9 +718,9 @@ struct target_ops TARGET_DEFAULT_NORETURN (tcomplain ()); /* Return the thread-local address at OFFSET in the thread-local storage for the thread PTID and the shared library - or executable file given by OBJFILE.
