* Makefile.in: Rename HOST_ONLY to NATIVE.

* configure: Delete SunOs patch suffix from host_canonical
	  and build_canonical variables that are prepended to Makefiles.
	* configure.in: Add comments to patch suffix removal for easier
          maintenance.
