This adds the ability to change the color of the TUI borders, both
ordinary and active. Unlike other styling options, this doesn't allow
setting the intensity, because that is already done by the TUI in a
different way.

This changes tui_data_item_window::content to be a unique_xmalloc_ptr
and fixes up the fallout. It also removes a parameter from
tui_expand_tabs, as it was only ever given one value.
This also removes some tab-handling code from
tui_data_window::display_registers_from. Because the content can only
be set by tui_register_format, and because that calls tui_expand_tabs,
it's not possible to see a tab here.
gdb/ChangeLog
2019-08-20 Tom Tromey <tom@tromey.com>
* tui/tui-regs.h (struct tui_data_item_window)
<~tui_data_item_window>: Remove.
<content>: Now a unique_xmalloc_ptr.
* tui/tui-regs.c (tui_register_format): Return a
unique_xmalloc_ptr.
(tui_get_register): Update.
(~tui_data_item_window): Remove.
(tui_data_window::display_registers_from, tui_display_register):
Update.
* tui/tui-io.h (tui_expand_tabs): Update.
* tui/tui-io.c (tui_expand_tabs): Return a unique_xmalloc_ptr.
Remove "col" parameter.
With styling enabled, I think the way we display the TUI's
highlighted/current line is very ugly and distracting. The problem in
my view is that we reverse foreground/background in colored text as
well, leading to rainbow of background colors.
This patch changes that to something that I find much more sensible --
only reverse the default foreground/background colors, leave styled
text colors alone. If the foreground color is not the default
(because the text was styled), leave the foreground color as is. If
e.g., the terminal is fg=BLACK, and bg=WHITE, and the style wants to
print text in RED, reverse the background color (print in BLACK), but
still print the text in RED.
Note: The new ui_file_style::set_fg method isn't called set_foreground
instead, because set_foreground is a macro in /usr/lib/term.h (ncurses).
gdb/ChangeLog:
2019-03-18 Pedro Alves <palves@redhat.com>
* tui/tui-io.c (reverse_mode_p, reverse_save_bg, reverse_save_fg):
New globals.
(apply_style): New, factored out from ...
(apply_ansi_escape): ... this. Handle reverse video mode.
(tui_set_reverse_mode): New function.
* tui/tui-io.h (tui_set_reverse_mode): New declaration.
* tui/tui-winsource.c (tui_show_source_line): Use
tui_set_reverse_mode instead of setting A_STANDOUT.
* ui-style.h (struct ui_file_style) <set_reverse, set_fg, set_bg>:
New setter methods.
While working on my other scripts to deal with gdb headers, I noticed
that some files were missing include guards. I wrote a script to add
the missing ones, but found that using the obvious names for the
guards ran into clashes -- for example, gdb/nat/linux-nat.h used
"LINUX_NAT_H", but this was also the script's choice for
gdb/linux-nat.h.
So, I changed the script to normalize all include guards in gdb. This
patch is the result.
As usual the script is available here:
https://github.com/tromey/gdb-refactoring-scripts
Tested by rebuilding; I also ran it through "Fedora-x86_64-m64" on the
buildbot.

This commit applies all changes made after running the gdb/copyright.py
script.
Note that one file was flagged by the script, due to an invalid
copyright header
(gdb/unittests/basic_string_view/element_access/char/empty.cc).
As the file was copied from GCC's libstdc++-v3 testsuite, this commit
leaves this file untouched for the time being; a patch to fix the header
was sent to gcc-patches first.
gdb/ChangeLog:
Update copyright year range in all GDB files.
This changes gdb to highlight source using GNU Source Highlight, if it
is available.
This affects the output of the "list" command and also the TUI source
window.
No new test because I didn't see a way to make it work when Source
Highlight is not found.

Commit d7e747318f ("Eliminate make_cleanup_ui_file_delete / make
ui_file a class hierarchy") regressed the TUI's command window.
Newlines miss doing a "carriage return", resulting in output like:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(gdb) helpList of classes of commands:
aliases -- Aliases of other commands
breakpoints -- Making program stop at certain points
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before the commit mentioned above, the default ui_file->to_write
implementation had a hack that would defer into the ui_file->to_fputs
method. The TUI's ui_file did not implement the to_write method, so
all writes would end up going to the ncurses window via tui_file_fputs
-> tui_puts.
After the commit above, the hack is gone, but the TUI's ui_file still
does not implement the ui_file::write method. Since tui_file inherits
from stdio_file, writing to a tui_file ends up doing fwrite on the
FILE stream the TUI is "associated" with, via stdio_file::write,
instead of writing to the ncurses window.
The fix is to have tui_file override the "write" method.
New test included.
