Yao Qi 6394c60699 Don't use print_insn_XXX in GDB
This is a follow-up to

  [PATCH 0/6] Unify the disassembler selection in gdb and objdump
  https://sourceware.org/ml/binutils/2017-05/msg00192.html

that is, opcodes is able to select the right disassembler, so gdb
doesn't have to select them.  Instead, gdb can just use
default_print_insn.  As a result, these print_insn_XXX are not used
out of opcodes, so this patch also moves their declarations from
include/dis-asm.h to opcodes/disassemble.h.  With this change,
GDB doesn't use any print_insn_XXX directly any more.

Pedro Alves 8f10c93233 gdb: Move DJGPP/go32 bits to their own tdep file
I posit that this makes them easier to find.

The other day while working on the wchar_t patch, I had a bit of
trouble finding the DJGPP/go32 tdep bits.  My initial reaction was
looking for a go32-specific tdep file, but there's none.

Confirmed that a --host=i586-pc-msdosdjgpp GDB still builds
successfully and includes the  i386-go32-tdep.o object.

Confirmed that an --enable-targets=all build of GDB on x86-64
GNU/Linux includes the DJGPP/go32 bits too.

Pedro Alves e9bb3fbbe8 Remove unnecessary set_gdbarch_gnu_triplet_regexp calls
i386_gdbarch_init already does this unconditionally for all x86 ports.

Pedro Alves 53375380e9 Teach GDB that wchar_t is a built-in type in C++ mode
GDB is currently not aware that wchar_t is a built-in type in C++
mode.  This is usually not a problem because the debug info describes
the type, so when you have a program loaded, you don't notice this.
However, if you try expressions involving wchar_t before a program is
loaded, gdb errors out:

 (gdb) p (wchar_t)-1
 No symbol table is loaded.  Use the "file" command.
 (gdb) p L"hello"
 No type named wchar_t.
 (gdb) ptype L"hello"
 No type named wchar_t.

This commit teaches gdb about the type.  After:

 (gdb) p (wchar_t)-1
 $1 = -1 L'\xffffffff'
 (gdb) p L"hello"
 $2 = L"hello"
 (gdb) ptype L"hello"
 type = wchar_t [6]

Unlike char16_t/char32_t, unfortunately, the underlying type of
wchar_t is implementation dependent, both size and signness.  So this
requires adding a couple new gdbarch hooks.

I grepped the GCC code base for WCHAR_TYPE and WCHAR_TYPE_SIZE, and it
seems to me that the majority of the ABIs have a 4-byte signed
wchar_t, so that's what I made the default for GDB too.  And then I
looked for which ports have a 16-bit and/or unsigned wchar_t, and made
GDB follow suit.

Pedro Alves f995bbe8e6 -Wwrite-strings: Constify struct disassemble_info's disassembler_options field
The memory disassemble_info::disassembler_options points to is always
owned by the client.  I.e., that field is an non-owning, observing
pointer.  Thus const makes sense.

Are the include/ and opcodes/ bits OK?

Tested on x86_64 Fedora 23, built with --enable-targets=all.

Walfred Tedeschi 4a612d6f67 amd64-mpx: initialize BND register before performing inferior calls.
This patch initializes the BND registers before executing the inferior
call.  BND registers can be in arbitrary values at the moment of the
inferior call.  In case the function being called uses as part of the
parameters BND register, e.g. when passing a pointer as parameter, the
current value of the register will be used.  This can cause boundary
violations that are not due to a real bug or even desired by the user.
In this sense the best to be done is set the BND registers to allow
access to the whole memory, i.e. initialized state, before pushing the
inferior call.

Michael Sturm 51547df62c Add support for Intel PKRU register to GDB and GDBserver.
This patch adds support for the registers added by the
Memory Protection Keys for Userspace (PKU aka PKEYs) feature.
Native and remote debugging are covered by this patch.

The XSAVE area is extended with a new state containing
the 32-bit wide PKRU register. The new register is added to
amd64-avx-mpx_avx512-* tdesc, thus it is renamed accordingly. Also,
respective xstate mask X86_XSTATE_AVX_MPX_AVX512_MASK is renamed to
X86_XSTATE_AVX_MPX_AVX512_PKU_MASK to reflect the new feature set
it supports.

Michael Sturm a1fa17ee15 Add target description for avx-avx512.
Add a dedicated target description for the feature combination
avx-avx512 as implemented by certain IA CPU models.

The corresponding X86_XSTATE_AVX_AVX512_MASK already exists, but shared
the tdesc with X86_XSTATE_AVX_MPX_AVX512_MASK. This caused MPX registers
displayed as undefined on CPUs that only implemented
X86_XSTATE_AVX_AVX512_MASK, which is undesired. This patch solves this issue.

This patch also corrects the wrong usage of x32-avx-mpx-avx512, which is
replaced by x32-avx-avx512. The MPX feature is not implemented in x32 mode.

Michael Sturm 22049425ce Rename target descriptions to reflect actual content of description.
To better reflect the actual feature set covered by the IA target
descriptions, the existing descriptions are renamed. Each feature of
the extended state is added to the name of a description or xstate mask
starting from AVX.
For example, amd64-mpx-avx512-linux becomes amd64-avx-mpx-avx512-linux,
while amd64-avx-linux remains unchanged.
Likewise, the corresponding xstate masks are changed, e.g. from
X86_XSTATE_MPX_AVX512_MASK to X86_XSTATE_AVX_MPX_AVX512_MASK.

Luis Machado 20b477a75c [BZ 21005] Add support for Intel 64 rdrand and rdseed record/replay
This patch addresses BZ 21005, which is gdb failing to recognize an rdrand
instruction.

It enables support for both rdrand and rdseed and handles extended register
addressing (R8~R15) for 16-bit, 32-bit and 64-bit.

Simon Marchi 112e8700a6 Class-ify ui_out
This patch finalizes the C++ conversion of the ui-out subsystem, by
turning the ui_out and ui_out_impl structures into a single class
hierarchy.  ui_out functions are turned into virtual methods of that new
class, so as a result there are a lot of call sites to update.

In the previous version of the patchset, there were separate ui_out and
ui_out_impl classes, but it wasn't really useful and added boilerplate.
In this version there is simply an ui_out base class that is
extended for CLI, TUI and MI.

It's a bit hard to maintain a ChangeLog for such a big patch, I did my
best but I'm sure there are some missing or outdated info in there...

Yao Qi 04180708ef Remove GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION and SET_GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION
Both of them are used in conversion.  We can remove them since the
conversion is done.

There are many architectures only have one breakpoint instruction,
so their gdbarch methods breakpoint_kind_from_pc and
sw_breakpoint_from_kind look very similar.  Instead of macro, we
use template "template <size_t, const gdb_byte *> struct bp_manipulation"
for these architectures.  In order to use template, I also change
breakpoint instruction of type "static const gdb_byte[]" to
"constexpr gdb_byte[]", and rename them to ARCH_break_insn.

Yao Qi 598cc9dc84 GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION and SET_GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION
Many archs have only one kind of breakpoint, so their breakpoint_from_pc
implementations are quite similar.  This patch uses macro
GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION and SET_GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION
for breakpoint_from_pc, so that we can easily switch from
breakpoint_from_pc to breakpoint_kind_from_pc and sw_breakpoint_from_kind
later.

Maciej W. Rozycki ae71e7b598 i386-tdep: Verify architecture before proceeding with `set/show mpx'
Make sure the architecture is `bfd_arch_i386' before handling the `set
mpx' and `show mpx' commands, avoiding the issue with `i386_mpx_enabled'
interpreting `gdbarch->tdep' according to the `struct gdbarch_tdep'
definition in i386-tdep.h while indeed in a multi-target configuration
it may have a different layout and cause GDB to crash or at least
misbehave.

Ulrich Weigand 00d5215ece Support 128-bit IEEE floating-point types on Intel and Power
Now that all the prerequisites are in place, this commit finally adds support
for handling the __float128 type on Intel and Power, by providing appropriate
platform-specific versions of the floatformat_for_type callback.

Since at this point we do not yet have any indication in the debug info to
distinguish different floating-point formats of the same length, we simply
use the type name as hint.  Types named "__float128" get the IEEE format.
In addition to handling "__float128" itself, we also recognize "_Float128"
and (on Power) "_Float64x", as well as the complex versions of those.
(As pointed out by Joseph Myers, starting with GCC 7, __float128 is just
a typedef for _Float128 -- but it's good to handle this anyway.)

A new test case does some simple verification that the format is decoded
correctly, using both __float128 and "long double" to make sure using both
in the same file still works.  Another new test verifies handling of the
_FloatN and _FloatNx types supported by GCC 7, as well as the complex
versions of those types.

Note that this still only supports basic format decoding and encoding.
We do not yet support the GNU extension 'g' suffix for __float128 constants.
In addition, since all *arithmetic* on floating-point values is still
performed in native host "long double" arithmetic, if that format is not
able to encode all target __float128 values, we may get incorrect results.
(To fix this would require implementing fully synthetic target floating-
point arithmetic along the lines of GCC's real.c, presumably using MPFR.)

Walfred Tedeschi 2b863f512d Add target descriptions for AVX + MPX
The current MPX target descriptions assume that MPX is always combined
with AVX, however that's not correct.  We can have machines with MPX
and without AVX; or machines with AVX and without MPX.

This patch adds new target descriptions for machines that support
both MPX and AVX, as duplicates of the existing MPX descriptions.

The following commit will remove AVX from the MPX-only descriptions.

Pedro Alves 651ce16aa7 Do target_terminal_ours in query & friends instead of in all callers
Any time a caller calls query & friends / prompt_for_continue without
ensuring that gdb owns the terminal for input is a bug.  So do that in
defaulted_query / prompt_for_continue directly instead.

An example of a case where we currently miss calling
target_terminal_ours is internal_error.  Ever since defaulted_query
was made to use gdb_readline_callback, there's no way to answer the
internal error query if the internal error happens while the target is
has the terminal:

  (gdb) c
  Continuing.
  .../src/gdb/linux-nat.c:1676: internal-error: linux_nat_resume: Assertion `dummy_counter < 10' failed.
  A problem internal to GDB has been detected,

Walfred Tedeschi 012b3a217a Intel MPX bound violation handling
With Intel Memory Protection Extensions it was introduced the concept of
boundary violation.  A boundary violations is presented to the inferior as
a segmentation fault having SIGCODE 3.  This patch adds a
handler for a boundary violation extending the information displayed
when a bound violation is presented to the inferior.  In the stop mode
case the debugger will also display the kind of violation: "upper" or
"lower", bounds and the address accessed.
On no stop mode the information will still remain unchanged.  Additional
information about bound violations are not meaningful in that case user
does not know the line in which violation occurred as well.

When the segmentation fault handler is stop mode the out puts will be
changed as exemplified below.

The usual output of a segfault is:

Simon Marchi ede5f15146 gdbarch.h: Change gdbarch_info::tdep_info's type to void *

The system compiler (gcc 4.1) in Centos 5 doesn't like that we cast to a
pointer to a type that doesn't exist.  I see no real value in using this
kind iof construct over just using void *.  So this patch changes the
tdep_info field to void * and removes the casts.  Even in C++, we
should not need an explicit cast when assigning to a void *.

Simon Marchi 9a3c826307 Add some more casts (1/2)
Note: I needed to split this patch in two, otherwise it's too big for
the mailing list.

This patch adds explicit casts to situations where a void pointer is
assigned to a pointer to the "real" type.  Building in C++ mode requires
those assignments to use an explicit cast.  This includes, for example:

 - callback arguments (cleanups, comparison functions, ...)
 - data attached to some object (objfile, program space, etc) in the form
   of a void pointer
 - "user data" passed to some function

This patch comes from the commit "(mostly) auto-generated patch to insert
casts needed for C++", taken from Pedro's C++ branch.

Only files built on x86 with --enable-targets=all are modified, so the
native files for other arches will need to be dealt with separately.

I built-tested this with --enable-targets=all and reg-tested.  To my
surprise, a test case (selftest.exp) had to be adjusted.

Here's the ChangeLog entry.  Again, this was relatively quick to make
despite the length, thanks to David Malcom's script, although I don't
believe it's very useful information in that particular case...

Simon Marchi 224c3ddb89 Add casts to memory allocation related calls
Most allocation functions (if not all) return a void* pointing to the
allocated memory.  In C++, we need to add an explicit cast when
assigning the result to a pointer to another type (which is the case
more often than not).

The content of this patch is taken from Pedro's branch, from commit
"(mostly) auto-generated patch to insert casts needed for C++".  I
validated that the changes make sense and manually reflowed the code to
make it respect the coding style.  I also found multiple places where I
could use XNEW/XNEWVEC/XRESIZEVEC/etc.

Thanks a lot to whoever did that automated script to insert casts, doing
it completely by hand would have taken a ridiculous amount of time.

Only files built on x86 with --enable-targets=all are modified.  This
means that all other -nat.c files are untouched and will have to be
dealt with later by using appropiate compilers.  Or maybe we can try to
build them with a regular g++ just to know where to add casts, I don't
know.

I built-tested this with --enable-targets=all and reg-tested.

Here's the changelog entry, which was not too bad to make despite the
size, thanks to David Malcom's script.  I fixed some bits by hand, but
there might be some wrong parts left (hopefully not).

Pierre Langlois 6b940e6a06 Remove isize output argument from fast_tracepoint_valid_at
This patch removes the isize output argument from the
fast_tracepoint_valid_at gdbarch hook.  It was used to return the size
of the instruction that needs to be replaced when installing a fast
tracepoint.  Instead of getting this value from the
fast_tracepoint_valid_at hook, we can call the gdb_insn_length function.

If we do not do this, then architectures which do not have a restriction
on where to install the fast tracepoint will send uninitialized memory
off to GDBserver.  See remote_download_tracepoint:

Patrick Palka 118ca22445 Don't throw an error in "show mpx bound" implementation

Walfred Tedeschi 966f0aefa6 Fix broken GDB build after adding Bound table support for i386.
Types used for some variables could not be used for 32 bits, causing a
compilation failure.
This patch adds a cast to force a quite compilation, but at the same
time it bails out in the case that the cast performed is not safe, i.e.
in the case where the debuggee is 64bit and debugger is 32bit.

Documentation was also affected, once a different version of texinfo the
docs could not be build.

Walfred Tedeschi 29c1c24429 Add support for bound table in the Intel MPX context.
Intel(R) Memory protection bound information are located in register
to be tested using the MPX new instructions. Since the number of
bound registers are limited a table is used to provide storage for
bounds during run-time.

In order to investigate the contents of the MPX bound table two new
commands are added to GDB.  "show mpx bound" and "set mpx bound" are
used to display and set values on the MPX bound table.

Martin Galvan c9cf6e20c6 Rename in_function_epilogue_p to stack_frame_destroyed_p
We concluded that gdbarch_in_function_epilogue_p is misnamed, since it
returns true if the given PC is one instruction after the one that
destroyed the stack (which isn't necessarily inside an epilogue),
therefore it should be renamed to stack_frame_destroyed_p.

I also took the liberty of renaming the arch-specific implementations to
*_stack_frame_destroyed_p as well for consistency.

John Baldwin 97de3545ca Add support for the x86 XSAVE extended state on FreeBSD/x86.
Recognize NT_X86_XSTATE notes in FreeBSD process cores.  Recent
FreeBSD versions include a note containing the XSAVE state for each
thread in the process when XSAVE is in use.  The note stores a copy of
the current XSAVE mask in a reserved section of the machine-defined
XSAVE state at the same offset as Linux's NT_X86_XSTATE note.

For native processes, use the PT_GETXSTATE_INFO ptrace request to
determine if XSAVE is enabled, and if so the active XSAVE state mask
(that is, the value of %xcr0 for the target process) as well as the
size of XSAVE state area.  Use the PT_GETXSTATE and PT_SETXSTATE requests
to fetch and store the XSAVE state, respectively, in the BSD x86
native targets.

In addition, the FreeBSD amd64 and i386 native targets now include
"read_description" target methods to determine the correct x86 target
description for the current XSAVE mask.  On FreeBSD amd64 this also
properly returns an i386 target description for 32-bit binaries which
allows the 64-bit GDB to run 32-bit binaries.

Note that the ptrace changes are in the BSD native targets, not the
FreeBSD-specific native targets since that is where the other ptrace
register accesses occur.  Of the other BSDs, NetBSD and DragonFly use
XSAVE in the kernel but do not currently export the extended state via
ptrace(2).  OpenBSD does not currently support XSAVE.

Pedro Alves 492d29ea1c Split TRY_CATCH into TRY + CATCH
This patch splits the TRY_CATCH macro into three, so that we go from
this:

Thus, we'll be getting rid of the local volatile exception object, and
declaring the caught exception in the catch block.

This allows reimplementing TRY/CATCH in terms of C++ exceptions when
building in C++ mode, while still allowing to build GDB in C mode
(using setjmp/longjmp), as a transition step.

TBC, after this patch, is it _not_ valid to have code between the TRY
and the CATCH blocks, like:

  TRY
    {
    }

  // some code here.

  CATCH (ex, RETURN_MASK_ERROR)
    {
    }
  END_CATCH

Just like it isn't valid to do that with C++'s native try/catch.

By switching to creating the exception object inside the CATCH block
scope, we can get rid of all the explicitly allocated volatile
exception objects all over the tree, and map the CATCH block more
directly to C++'s catch blocks.

The majority of the TRY_CATCH -> TRY+CATCH+END_CATCH conversion was
done with a script, rerun from scratch at every rebase, no manual
editing involved.  After the mechanical conversion, a few places
needed manual intervention, to fix preexisting cases where we were
using the exception object outside of the TRY_CATCH block, and cases
where we were using "else" after a 'if (ex.reason) < 0)' [a CATCH
after this patch].  The result was folded into this patch so that GDB
still builds at each incremental step.

END_CATCH is necessary for two reasons:

First, because we name the exception object in the CATCH block, which
requires creating a scope, which in turn must be closed somewhere.
Declaring the exception variable in the initializer field of a for
block, like:

  #define CATCH(EXCEPTION, mask) \
    for (struct gdb_exception EXCEPTION; \
         exceptions_state_mc_catch (&EXCEPTION, MASK); \
	 EXCEPTION = exception_none)

would avoid needing END_CATCH, but alas, in C mode, we build with C90,
which doesn't allow mixed declarations and code.

Second, because when TRY/CATCH are wired to real C++ try/catch, as
long as we need to handle cleanup chains, even if there's no CATCH
block that wants to catch the exception, we need for stop at every
frame in the unwind chain and run cleanups, then rethrow.  That will
be done in END_CATCH.

After we require C++, we'll still need TRY/CATCH/END_CATCH until
cleanups are completely phased out -- TRY/CATCH in C++ mode will
save/restore the current cleanup chain, like in C mode, and END_CATCH
catches otherwise uncaugh exceptions, runs cleanups and rethrows, so
that C++ cleanups and exceptions can coexist.

IMO, this still makes the TRY/CATCH code look a bit more like a
newcomer would expect, so IMO worth it even if we weren't considering
C++.

This normalizes some exception catch blocks that check for ex.reason
to look like this:

The motivation for that change is being able to reimplent TRY/CATCH in
terms of C++ try/catch.

This commit makes it so that:

 - no condition other than ex.reason < 0 is checked in the if
   predicate

 - there's no "else" block to check whether no exception was caught

 - there's no code between the TRY_CATCH (TRY) block and the
   'if (ex.reason < 0)' block (CATCH).

 - the exception object is no longer referred to outside the if/catch
   block.  Note the local volatile exception objects that are
   currently defined inside functions that use TRY_CATCH will
   disappear.  In cases it's more convenient to still refer to the
   exception outside the catch block, a new non-volatile local is
   added and copy to that object is made within the catch block.

The following patches should make this all clearer.

Gary Benson 61012eef84 New common function "startswith"
This commit introduces a new inline common function "startswith"
which takes two string arguments and returns nonzero if the first
string starts with the second.  It also updates the 295 places
where this logic was written out longhand to use the new function.

Andreas Arnez 1528345d6c Fix internal error when core file section is too big
As reported in PR 17808, a test case with a forged (invalid) core file
can crash GDB with an assertion failure.  In that particular case the
prstatus of an i386 core file looks like that from an AMD64 core file.
Consequently the respective regset supply function i386_supply_gregset
is invoked with a larger buffer than usual.  But i386_supply_gregset
asserts a specific buffer size, and this assertion fails.

The patch relaxes all buffer size assertions in regset supply
functions such that they merely check for a sufficiently large buffer.
For consistency the regset collect functions are adjusted as well.

Tom Tromey ac04f72bb4 add gnu_triplet_regexp gdbarch method
gdb has to inform libcc1.so of the target being used, so that the
correct compiler can be invoked.  The compiler is invoked using the
GNU configury triplet prefix, e.g., "x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc".

In order for this to work we need to map the gdbarch to the GNU
configury triplet arch.  In most cases these are identical; however,
the x86 family poses some problems, as the BFD arch names are quite
different from the GNU triplet names.  So, we introduce a new gdbarch
method for this.  A regular expression is used because there are
various valid values for the arch prefix in the triplet.

This patch also updates the osabi code to associate a regular
expression with the OS ABI.  I have only added a concrete value for
Linux.  Note that the "-gnu" part is optional, at least on Fedora it
is omitted from the installed GCC executable's name.

Doug Evans 43f3e411c4 Split struct symtab into two: struct symtab and compunit_symtab.
Currently "symtabs" in gdb are stored as a single linked list of
struct symtab that contains both symbol symtabs (the blockvectors)
and file symtabs (the linetables).

This has led to confusion, bugs, and performance issues.

This patch is conceptually very simple: split struct symtab into
two pieces: one part containing things common across the entire
compilation unit, and one part containing things specific to each
source file.

Example.
For the case of a program built out of these files:

foo.c
  foo1.h
  foo2.h
bar.c
  foo1.h
  bar.h

Today we have a single list of struct symtabs:

objfile -> foo.c -> foo1.h -> foo2.h -> bar.c -> foo1.h -> bar.h -> NULL

where "->" means the "next" pointer in struct symtab.

With this patch, that turns into:

objfile -> foo.c(cu) -> bar.c(cu) -> NULL
            |            |
            v            v
           foo.c        bar.c
            |            |

           foo1.h       foo1.h
            |            |

           foo2.h       bar.h
            |            |

where "foo.c(cu)" and "bar.c(cu)" are struct compunit_symtab objects,
and the files foo.c, etc. are struct symtab objects.

So now, for example, when we want to iterate over all blockvectors
we can now just iterate over the compunit_symtab list.

Plus a lot of the data that was either unused or replicated for each
symtab in a compilation unit now lives in struct compunit_symtab.
E.g., the objfile pointer, the producer string, etc.
I thought of moving "language" out of struct symtab but there is
logic to try to compute the language based on previously seen files,
and I think that's best left as is for now.
With my standard monster benchmark with -readnow (which I can't actually
do, but based on my calculations), whereas today the list requires
77MB to store all the struct symtabs, it now only requires 37MB.
A modest space savings given the gigabytes needed for all the debug info,
etc.  Still, it's nice.  Plus, whereas today we create a copy of dirname
for each source file symtab in a compilation unit, we now only create one
for the compunit.

So this patch is basically just a data structure reorg,
I don't expect significant performance improvements from it.

Notes:

1) A followup patch can do a similar split for struct partial_symtab.
I have left that until after I get the changes I want in to
better utilize .gdb_index (it may affect how we do partial syms).

2) Another followup patch *could* rename struct symtab.
The term "symtab" is ambiguous and has been a source of confusion.
In this patch I'm leaving it alone, calling it the "historical" name
of "filetabs", which is what they are now: just the file-name + line-table.

Pedro Alves ae9bb220ca add a default method for gdbarch_skip_permanent_breakpoint
breakpoint.c uses gdbarch_breakpoint_from_pc to determine whether a
breakpoint location points at a permanent breakpoint:

So I think we should default the gdbarch_skip_permanent_breakpoint
hook to advancing the PC by the length of the breakpoint instruction,
as determined by gdbarch_breakpoint_from_pc.  I believe that simple
implementation does the right thing for most architectures.  If
there's an oddball architecture where that doesn't work, then it
should override the hook, just like it should be overriding the hook
if there was no default anyway.

The only two implementation of skip_permanent_breakpoint are
i386_skip_permanent_breakpoint, for x86, and
hppa_skip_permanent_breakpoint, for PA-RISC/HP-UX

The x86 implementation is trivial, and can clearly be replaced by the
new default.

I don't know about the HP-UX one though, I know almost nothing about
PA.  It may well be advancing the PC ends up being equivalent.
Otherwise, it must be that "jump $pc_after_bp" doesn't work either...

Tested on x86_64 Fedora 20 native and gdbserver.
