Yao Qi c09f20e469 core_xfer_shared_libraries and core_xfer_shared_libraries_aix returns ULONGEST 
This patch documents the return value of core_xfer_shared_libraries_aix
and core_xfer_shared_libraries gdbarch methods, and changes return
type to ULONGEST from LONGEST.

In a following patch, core_xfer_partial. is changed to check their
return values and return an appropriate target_xfer_status.

Yao Qi 7ec1862d1a Change 'len''s type from LONGEST to ULONGEST: gdbarch methods core_xfer_shared_libraries and core_xfer_shared_libraries_aix 
This patch changes the type of 'len' from LONGEST to ULONGEST.  'len'
is the argument of gdbarch methods core_xfer_shared_libraries and
core_xfer_shared_libraries_aix.

Tom Tromey 0e9f083f4c remove gdb_string.h 
This removes gdb_string.h.  This patch is purely mechanical.  I
created it by running the two commands:

Pedro Alves 001f13d822 -Wpointer-sign: gdb_byte -> char. 
This is sort of the opposite of the previous patch.  Places that
manipulate strings or interfaces that return strings are changed to
use char* instead of gdb_byte*.

Joel Brobecker a8e1bb344d Windows-specific iterate_over_objfiles_in_search_order 
This patch sets the windows target to use their own version of
the iterate_over_objfiles_in_search_order gdbarch method, in
order to make global symbol searches sensitive to the current
objfile.
