Andrew Burgess 9a9a760829 Improve MI -var-info-path-expression for nested struct/union case.

The MI command -var-info-path-expression currently does not handle
non-anonymous structs / unions nested within other structs / unions,
it will skip parts of the expression.  Consider this example:

Notice that the path expression returned is wrong, and as a result
the print command fails.

This patch adds a new method to the varobj_ops structure called
is_path_expr_parent, to allow language specific control over finding
the parent varobj, the current logic becomes the C/C++ version and is
extended to handle the nested cases.  No other language currently uses
this code, so all other languages just get a default method.

With this patch, the above example now finishes like this:

Notice that the path expression is now correct, and the print is a
success.

Joel Brobecker 4d072ce478 Unnecessary XA type handling in ada_varobj_describe_simple_array_child
ada-varobj.c::ada_varobj_describe_simple_array_child only ever gets
called after all GNAT encodings have been applied to (parent_value,
parent_type). So there is no point in redoing it partially by
checking for parallel XA types again.

gdb/ChangeLog:

	* ada-varobj.c (ada_varobj_describe_simple_array_child): Remove
	handling of parallel ___XA types.

Joel Brobecker f30b8b38d4 varobj/Ada: Missing children for interface-wide tagged types
Consider the following code:

   type Element is abstract tagged null record;
   type GADataType is interface;
   type Data_Type is new Element and GADataType with record
      I : Integer := 42;
   end record;
   Result1 : Data_Type;
   GGG1    : GADataType'Class := GADataType'Class (Result1);

When trying to create a varobj for variable ggg1, GDB currently
returns an object which has no child:

    -var-create ggg1 * ggg1
    ^done,name="ggg1",numchild="0",[...]

This is incorrect, it should return an object which has one child
(field "i"). This is because tagged-type objects are dynamic, and
we need to apply a small transformation in order to get their actual
type. This is already done on the GDB/CLI side in ada-valprint,
and it needs to be done on the ada-varobj side as well.

gdb/ChangeLog:

        * ada-varobj.c (ada_varobj_adjust_for_child_access): Convert
        tagged type objects to their actual type.

gdb/testsuite/ChangeLog:

        * gdb.ada/mi_interface: New testcase.

Yao Qi c4124bf18d Remove ada-varobj.h.
As a result of previous patch, extern functions in ada-varobj.c can be
made static, and ada-varobj.h can be removed too.

Joel Brobecker 28e7fd6234 Update years in copyright notice for the GDB files.
Two modifications:
  1. The addition of 2013 to the copyright year range for every file;
  2. The use of a single year range, instead of potentially multiple
     year ranges, as approved by the FSF.

Joel Brobecker 181875a4ab Varobj support for Ada.
This patch adds varobj support for Ada variables.  Most of the code
is implemented in a separate Ada-specific file called ada-varobj.c.
The only bits in varobj.c are the functions used as the hooks in
the language-specific varobj's vector.
