2005-02-21 Douglas Gregor <dgregor@cs.indiana.edu> PR c++/19076 PR c++/6628 * cp-tree.h (cp_apply_type_quals_to_decl): Declared. * decl.c (grokdeclarator): Pedwarn about qualifying a function type. Add qualifiers when declaring a typedef of a function type. Member function pointers pick up the qualifiers of the typedef used to declare them. Don't complain about creating cv-qualified function types. Complain about qualified function typedefs that are used to declare non-static member functions or free functions. Use cp_apply_type_quals_to_decl. (start_preparsed_function): Use cp_apply_type_quals_to_decl. (grokclassfn): Use cp_apply_type_quals_to_decl. * error.c (dump_type_suffix): Print qualifiers for function types. * pt.c (tsubst_decl): Use cp_apply_type_quals_to_decl. (tsubst): When substituting a function type into a member pointer type, pass along the qualifiers. (unify): Unify member pointers to member function pointers. * tree.c (cp_build_qualified_type_real): Function types may be qualified. This includes restrict qualifiers. * typeck.c (cp_apply_type_quals_to_decl): New function to replace use of c_apply_type_quals_to_decl. Drops qualifiers that are being added to function types. This directory contains the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC). The GNU Compiler Collection is free software. See the file COPYING for copying permission. The manuals, and some of the runtime libraries, are under different terms; see the individual source files for details. The directory INSTALL contains copies of the installation information as HTML and plain text. The source of this information is gcc/doc/install.texi. The installation information includes details of what is included in the GCC sources and what files GCC installs. See the file gcc/doc/gcc.texi (together with other files that it includes) for usage and porting information. An online readable version of the manual is in the files gcc/doc/gcc.info*. See http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html for how to report bugs usefully.
