Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!

ftrace: store mcount address in rec->ip Record the address of the mcount call-site. Currently all archs except sparc64 record the address of the instruction following the mcount call-site. Some general cleanups are entailed. Storing mcount addresses in rec->ip enables looking them up in the kprobe hash table later on to check if they're kprobe'd. ftrace: rename FTRACE to FUNCTION_TRACER Due to confusion between the ftrace infrastructure and the gcc profiling tracer "ftrace", this patch renames the config options from FTRACE to FUNCTION_TRACER. The other two names that are offspring from FTRACE DYNAMIC_FTRACE and FTRACE_MCOUNT_RECORD will stay the same. This patch was generated mostly by script, and partially by hand.
