We regularly have new NAND controller drivers that are making use of
fields/hooks that we want to get rid of but can't because of all the
legacy drivers that we might break if we do.
So, instead of removing those fields/hooks, let's move them to a
sub-struct which is clearly documented as deprecated.
We start with the ->IO_ADDR_{R,W] fields.

Let's make the raw NAND API consistent by patching all helpers and
hooks to take a nand_chip object instead of an mtd_info one or
remove the mtd_info object when both are passed.
In order to do that, we first need to update the platform_nand_ctrl
hooks to take a nand_chip object instead of an mtd_info.
We add temporary plat_nand_xxx() wrappers to the do the mtd -> chip
conversion, but those will be dropped when patching nand_chip hooks to
take a nand_chip object.

Use the for_each_of_cpu_node iterator to iterate over cpu nodes. This
has the side effect of defaulting to iterating using "cpu" node names in
preference to the deprecated (for FDT) device_type == "cpu".

As we augmented the regulator core to accept a GPIO descriptor instead
of a GPIO number, we can augment the fixed GPIO regulator to look up
and pass that descriptor directly from device tree or board GPIO
descriptor look up tables.
Some boards just auto-enumerate their fixed regulator platform devices
and I have assumed they get names like "fixed-regulator.0" but it's
pretty hard to guess this. I need some testing from board maintainers to
be sure. Other boards are straight forward, using just plain
"fixed-regulator" (ID -1) or "fixed-regulator.1" hammering down the
device ID.
It seems the da9055 and da9211 has never got around to actually passing
any enable gpio into its platform data (not the in-tree code anyway) so we
can just decide to simply pass a descriptor instead.
The fixed GPIO-controlled regulator in mach-pxa/ezx.c was confusingly named
"*_dummy_supply_device" while it is a very real device backed by a GPIO
line. There is nothing dummy about it at all, so I renamed it with the
infix *_regulator_* as part of this patch set.

Currently the ov772x driver obtains a clock with a specific consumer ID.
As there's a single clock for this driver, we could omit clock-names
property in device tree by passing NULL as a consumer ID to clk_get().

The ov772x driver uses "rstb-gpios" and "pwdn-gpios" for reset and
powerdown pins. However, using generic names for these gpios is
preferred. ("reset-gpios" and "powerdown-gpios" respectively)
There is only one mainline user for these gpios, so rename to generic
names.

Use the new renesas-ceu camera driver in ap325rxa board file instead of
the soc_camera based sh_mobile_ceu_camera driver.
Get rid of soc_camera specific components, and register CEU0 with a single
video sensor (ov7725).
Memory for the CEU video buffers is now reserved with membocks APIs
and need to be declared as dma_coherent during machine initialization to
remove that architecture specific part from CEU driver.
The ap325rxa board file registers another camera (ncm03j) for which I found no
driver in mainline kernel version, and that was configured/probed by sending
i2c messages (of 'magic blobs) from the board file itself. I removed the
sensor registration from this new version as it used soc_camera components
that will be later removed.
While at there update license to SPDX header and sort headers alphabetically.
Compile tested only.

The TW9910 PDN gpio (power down) is listed as active high in the chip

Define the GPIO connected to the PCA9564 using a GPIO lookup table. This
will allow the i2c-pca-platform driver to use the device managed APIs to
lookup the gpio instead of using platform_data.

SH4 7724 Ecovec platform uses sh_mobile_ceu camera driver, which is now
being replaced by a proper V4L2 camera driver named 'renesas-ceu'.
Get rid of soc_camera defined components used to register sensor drivers
and of platform specific enable/disable routines.
Register GPIOs for sensor drivers and declare memory reserved with
memblock APIs as dma capable to be used for CEU buffers.
While at there re-order include directives to respect alphabetical
ordering.

TMIO_MMC_WRPROTECT_DISABLE is equivalent to MMC_CAP2_NO_WRITE_PROTECT.
The flag is propagated as follows:
tmio_mmc_data::capabilities2 -> mmc_host::caps2
Only the difference is the TMIO_... makes tmio_mmc_get_ro() return 0
(i.e. it does not affect mmc_gpio_get_ro() at all), while MMC_CAP2_...
returns 0 before calling ->get_ro() hook (i.e. it affects both IP own
logic and GPIO detection).
The TMIO MMC drivers do not set-up gpio_ro by themselves, so gpio_ro
is obviously unused by legacy boards like this. So, this conversion
should be safe.

Migo-R platform uses sh_mobile_ceu camera driver, which is now being
replaced by a proper V4L2 camera driver named 'renesas-ceu'.
Move Migo-R platform to use the v4l2 renesas-ceu camera driver
interface and get rid of soc_camera defined components used to register
sensor drivers and of platform specific enable/disable routines.
Register clock source and GPIOs for sensor drivers, so they can use
clock and gpio APIs.
Also, memory for CEU video buffers is now reserved with membocks APIs,
and need to be declared as dma_coherent during machine initialization to
remove that architecture specific part from CEU driver.

BPF alignment tests got a conflict because the registers
are output as Rn_w instead of just Rn in net-next, and
in net a fixup for a testcase prohibits logical operations
on pointers before using them.
Also, we should attempt to patch BPF call args if JIT always on is
enabled. Instead, if we fail to JIT the subprogs we should pass
an error back up and fail immediately.

After the Ether platform data is fixed, the driver probe() method would
still fail since the 'struct sh_eth_cpu_data' corresponding to SH771x
indicates the presence of TSU but the memory resource for it is absent.
Add the missing TSU resource to both Ether devices and fix the harmless
off-by-one error in the main memory resources, while at it...

The 'sh_eth' driver's probe() method would fail on the SolutionEngine7710
board and crash on SolutionEngine7712 board as the platform code is
hopelessly behind the driver's platform data -- it passes the PHY address
instead of 'struct sh_eth_plat_data *'; pass the latter to the driver in
order to fix the bug...

Since the commit 888cc8c20c ("sh_eth: remove EDMAC_BIG_ENDIAN") (geez,
I didn't realize that was 2 years ago!) the initializers in the SuperH
platform code for the 'sh_eth_plat_data::edmac_endian' stopped to matter,
so we can remove that field for good (not sure if it was ever useful --
SH7786 Ether has been reported to have the same EDMAC descriptor/register
endiannes as configured for the SuperH CPU)...

Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.
By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.
Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.
This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.
How this work was done:
Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
- file had no licensing information it it.
- file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
- file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,
Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.
The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.
The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
- Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
- Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
lines of source
- File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
lines).
All documentation files were explicitly excluded.
The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.
- when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
COPYING file license applied.
For non */uapi/* files that summary was:

- when the two scanners agreed on the detected license(s), that became
the concluded license(s).
- when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.
- In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).
- When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
- If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
in time.
In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.
Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.
In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.
Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
- a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
license ids and scores
- reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
- reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
SPDX license was correct
This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.
These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

We are planning to share more code between different NAND based
devices (SPI NAND, OneNAND and raw NANDs), but before doing that
we need to move the existing include/linux/mtd/nand.h file into
include/linux/mtd/rawnand.h so we can later create a nand.h header
containing all common structure and function prototypes.

Remove incorrect CONFIG_IDE ifdef (CONFIG_IDE config option is for
internal drivers/ide/ use) and make IDE hardware interface always
initialized (not only when IDE subsystem is built-in).
This patch allows Cayman board to work with modular IDE subsystem
support and removes the requirement of having the whole core IDE
subsystem built-in when using libata PATA support.

Enable common clk framework for DT-based boards and disable code that

The of_iommu_init() is called multiple times by arch code,
make it postcore_initcall_sync, then we can drop relevant
calls fully.
Note, the IOMMUs should have a chance to perform some basic
initialisation before we start adding masters to them. So
postcore_initcall_sync is good choice, it ensures of_iommu_init()
called before of_platform_populate.

This replaces:
- "select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB" as this can
now be selected directly.
- "select ARCH_WANT_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB" with no dependency: GPIOLIB
is now selectable by everyone, so we need not declare our
intent to select it.
When ordering the symbols the following rationale was used:
if the selects were in alphabetical order, I moved select GPIOLIB
to be in alphabetical order, but if the selects were not
maintained in alphabetical order, I just replaced
"select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB".

Core infrastructural changes:
- Support for natively single-ended GPIO driver stages. This
means that if the hardware has registers to configure open
drain or open source configuration, we use that rather than
(as we did before) try to emulate it by switching the line
to an input to get high impedance. This is also documented
throughly in Documentation/gpio/driver.txt for those of you
who did not understand one word of what I just wrote.
- Start to do away with the unnecessarily complex and
unitelligible ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB and
ARCH_WANT_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB, another evolutional artifact from
the time when the GPIO subsystem was unmaintained. Archs can
now just select GPIOLIB and be done with it, cleanups to
arches will trickle in for the next kernel. Some minor archs
ACKed the changes immediately so these are included in this
pull request.
- Advancing the use of the data pointer inside the GPIO device
for storing driver data by switching the PowerPC, Super-H
Unicore and a few other subarches or subsystem drivers in
ALSA SoC, Input, serial, SSB, staging etc to use it.
- The initialization now reads the input/output state of the
GPIO lines, so that each GPIO descriptor knows - if this
callback is implemented - whether the line is input or
output. This also reflects nicely in userspace "lsgpio".
- It is now possible to name GPIO producer names, line names,
from the device tree. (Platform data has been supported for
a while.) I bet we will get a similar mechanism for ACPI
one of those days. This makes is possible to get sensible
producer names for e.g. GPIO rails in "lsgpio" in userspace.
New drivers:
- New driver for the Loongson1.
- The XLP driver now supports Broadcom Vulcan ARM64.
- The IT87 driver now supports IT8620 and IT8628.
- The PCA953X driver now supports Galileo Gen2.
Driver improvements:
- MCP23S08 was switched to use the gpiolib irqchip helpers and
now also suppors level-triggered interrupts.
- 74x164 and RCAR now supports the .set_multiple() callback
- AMDPT was converted to use generic GPIO.
- TC3589x, TPS65218, SX150X, F7188X, MENZ127, VX855, WM831X, WM8994
support the new single ended callback for open drain
and in some cases open source.
- Implement the .get_direction() callback for a few more drivers
like PL061, Xgene.
Cleanups:
- Paul Gortmaker combed through the drivers and de-modularized
those who are not really modules.
- Move the GPIO poweroff DT bindings to the power subdir where
they belong.
- Rename gpio-generic.c to gpio-mmio.c, which is much more to the
point. That's what it is handling, nothing more, nothing less.

A few SH boards include the file but don't make use of it (no named
interrupts). The SDHI code removed support for this feature as well.
So, drop the references and ultimately remove the unneeded file.
