Marcin Slusarz 89f3f21990 efifb: fix framebuffer handoff
Commit 4410f39109 ("fbdev: add support for
handoff from firmware to hw framebuffers") didn't add fb_destroy
operation to efifb. Fix it and change aperture_size to match size
passed to request_mem_region.

Uwe Kleine-König 1ec562035b imxfb: correct location of callbacks in suspend and resume
The probe function passes a pointer to a struct fb_info to
platform_set_drvdata(), so don't interpret the return value of
platform_get_drvdata() as a pointer to struct imxfb_info.

The original imxfb_info *fbi backlight_power was NULL but in imxfb_suspend
it was 4 resulting in an oops as imxfb_suspend calls
imxfb_disable_controller(fbi) which in turn has

	if (fbi->backlight_power)
			fbi->backlight_power(0);

Alberto Panizzo b3cb537218 mx3fb: some debug and initialisation fixes
Fix the kernel oops when dev_dbg is called with mx3_fbi->txd == NULL

Fix the late initialisation of mx3fb->backlight_level. If not, in the
chain of function started by init_fb_chan(), in __blank() call
sdc_set_brightness(mx3fb, mx3fb->backlight_level) that will shut down the
CONTRAST PWM output.

Mark Brown eb29a5cc0b revert "drivers/video/s3c-fb.c: fix clock setting for Samsung SoC Framebuffer"
Fix divide by zero and broken output. Commit 600ce1a0fa ("fix clock
setting for Samsung SoC Framebuffer") introduced a mandatory refresh
parameter to the platform data for the S3C framebuffer but did not
introduce any validation code, causing existing platforms (none of which
have refresh set) to divide by zero whenever the framebuffer is
configured, generating warnings and unusable output.

Ben Dooks noted several problems with the patch:

 - The platform data supplies the pixclk directly and should already
have taken care of the refresh rate.
 - The addition of a window ID parameter doesn't help since only the
root framebuffer can control the pixclk.
 - pixclk is specified in picoseconds (rather than Hz) as the patch
   assumed.

and suggests reverting the commit so do that. Without fixing this no
mainline user of the driver will produce output.

Krzysztof Helt cfbd646fe0 intelfb: fix setting of active pipe with LVDS displays
The intelfb driver sets color map depending on currently active pipe.
However, if an LVDS display is attached (like in laptop) the active pipe
variable is never set. The default value is PIPE_A and can be wrong. Set
up the pipe variable during driver initialization after hardware state was
read.

Also, the detection of the active display (and hence the pipe) is wrong.
The pipes are assigned to so called planes. Both pipes are always enabled
on my laptop but only one plane is enabled (the plane A for the CRT or the
plane B for the LVDS). Change active pipe detection code to take into
account a status of the plane assigned to each pipe.

The problem is visible in the 8 bpp mode if colors above 15 are used. The
first 16 color entries are displayed correctly.

Chaithrika U S 1d3c6c7b36 davinci: fb : add suspend/resume suuport for DA8xx/OMAP-L1xx fb driver
Suspend/resume support DA8xx/OMAP-L1xx frame buffer driver. This feature
has been tested on DA850/OMAP-L138 EVM. For the purpose of testing, the
patch series[1] which adds suspend support for DA850/OMAP-L138 SoC was
applied.

Chaithrika U S 3611380490 davinci: fb: update the driver in preparation for addition of power management features
Add a helper function to enable raster. Also add one member in the
private data structure to track the current blank status, another function
pointer which takes in the platform specific callback function to control
panel power.

These updates will help in adding suspend/resume and frame buffer blank
operation features.

Vincent Sanders 9265576dae sm501: implement acceleration features
This patch provides the acceleration entry points for the SM501
framebuffer driver.

This patch provides the sync, copyarea and fillrect entry points, using
the SM501's 2D acceleration engine to perform the operations in-chip
rather than across the bus.

Ben Dooks d60f6c2ba8 sm501: fix missing uses of resource_size()
There are several places in the SM501 fb driver that could do with using
resource_size() to calculate the size of a resource.

Also fix a bug where request_mem_region() is being passed one too few
bytes when requesting the register memory region, which was causing the
following in /proc/iomem:

 13e80000-13e8ffff : sm501-fb.0
   13e80000-13e8fffe : sm501-fb

fixed, this reads:

 13e80000-13e8ffff : sm501-fb.0
   13e80000-13e8ffff : sm501-fb
