aac60f1a86 KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Use the appropriate TRACE_INCLUDE_PATH
Commit 49dfe94fe5 ("KVM: arm/arm64: Fix TRACE_INCLUDE_PATH") fixes
TRACE_INCLUDE_PATH to the correct relative path to the define_trace.h
and explains why did the old one work.

The same fix should be applied to virt/kvm/arm/vgic/trace.h.

82e40f558d KVM: arm/arm64: vgic-v2: Handle SGI bits in GICD_I{S,C}PENDR0 as WI
A guest is not allowed to inject a SGI (or clear its pending state)
by writing to GICD_ISPENDR0 (resp. GICD_ICPENDR0), as these bits are
defined as WI (as per ARM IHI 0048B 4.3.7 and 4.3.8).

Make sure we correctly emulate the architecture.

d4a8061a7c KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Fix potential deadlock when ap_list is long
If the ap_list is longer than 256 entries, merge_final() in list_sort()
will call the comparison callback with the same element twice, causing
a deadlock in vgic_irq_cmp().

Fix it by returning early when irqa == irqb.

3109741a8d KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Use a single IO device per redistributor
At the moment we use 2 IO devices per GICv3 redistributor: one
one for the RD_base frame and one for the SGI_base frame.

Instead we can use a single IO device per redistributor (the 2
frames are contiguous). This saves slots on the KVM_MMIO_BUS
which is currently limited to NR_IOBUS_DEVS (1000).

This change allows to instantiate up to 512 redistributors and may
speed the guest boot with a large number of VCPUs.

At the moment we initialise the target *mask* of a virtual IRQ to the
VCPU it belongs to, even though this mask is only defined for GICv2 and
quickly runs out of bits for many GICv3 guests.
This behaviour triggers an UBSAN complaint for more than 32 VCPUs:

Also for GICv3 guests the reporting of TARGET in the "vgic-state" debugfs
dump is wrong, due to this very same problem.

Because there is no requirement to create the VGIC device before the
VCPUs (and QEMU actually does it the other way round), we can't safely
initialise mpidr or targets in kvm_vgic_vcpu_init(). But since we touch
every private IRQ for each VCPU anyway later (in vgic_init()), we can
just move the initialisation of those fields into there, where we
definitely know the VGIC type.

On the way make sure we really have either a VGICv2 or a VGICv3 device,
since the existing code is just checking for "VGICv3 or not", silently
ignoring the uninitialised case.

0ed5f5d639 KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Make function comments match function declarations
Since commit 503a62862e ("KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Rely on the GIC driver to
parse the firmware tables"), the vgic_v{2,3}_probe functions stopped using
a DT node. Commit 9097773245 ("KVM: arm/arm64: vgic-new: vgic_init:
implement kvm_vgic_hyp_init") changed the functions again, and now they
require exactly one argument, a struct gic_kvm_info populated by the GIC
driver. Unfortunately the comments regressed and state that a DT node is
used instead. Change the function comments to reflect the current
prototypes.

Now that we have a cache of MSI->LPI translations, it is pretty
easy to implement kvm_arch_set_irq_inatomic (this cache can be
parsed without sleeping).

Hopefully, this will improve some LPI-heavy workloads.

The LPI translation cache needs to be discarded when an ITS command
may affect the translation of an LPI (DISCARD, MAPC and MAPD with V=0)
or the routing of an LPI to a redistributor with disabled LPIs (MOVI,
MOVALL).

We decide to perform a full invalidation of the cache, irrespective
of the LPI that is affected. Commands are supposed to be rare enough
that it doesn't matter.

16e604a437 KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Reevaluate level sensitive interrupts on enable
A HW mapped level sensitive interrupt asserted by a device will not be put
into the ap_list if it is disabled at the VGIC level. When it is enabled
again, it will be inserted into the ap_list and written to a list register
on guest entry regardless of the state of the device.

We could argue that this can also happen on real hardware, when the command
to enable the interrupt reached the GIC before the device had the chance to
de-assert the interrupt signal; however, we emulate the distributor and
redistributors in software and we can do better than that.

5eeaf10eec KVM: arm/arm64: Sync ICH_VMCR_EL2 back when about to block
Since commit commit 328e566479 ("KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Defer
touching GICH_VMCR to vcpu_load/put"), we leave ICH_VMCR_EL2 (or
its GICv2 equivalent) loaded as long as we can, only syncing it
back when we're scheduled out.

There is a small snag with that though: kvm_vgic_vcpu_pending_irq(),
which is indirectly called from kvm_vcpu_check_block(), needs to
evaluate the guest's view of ICC_PMR_EL1. At the point were we
call kvm_vcpu_check_block(), the vcpu is still loaded, and whatever
changes to PMR is not visible in memory until we do a vcpu_put().

Things go really south if the guest does the following:

	[vcpu preempted, then rescheduled, VMCR sampled]

	mov x0, #ff	// allow all interrupts
	msr ICC_PMR_EL1, x0

	[interrupt arrives just after WFI]

Here, the hypervisor's view of PMR is zero, while the guest has enabled
its interrupts. kvm_vgic_vcpu_pending_irq() will then say that no
interrupts are pending (despite an interrupt being received) and we'll
block for no reason. If the guest doesn't have a periodic interrupt
firing once it has blocked, it will stay there forever.

To avoid this unfortuante situation, let's resync VMCR from
kvm_arch_vcpu_blocking(), ensuring that a following kvm_vcpu_check_block()
will observe the latest value of PMR.

This has been found by booting an arm64 Linux guest with the pseudo NMI
feature, and thus using interrupt priorities to mask interrupts instead
of the usual PSTATE masking.

Renaming docs seems to be en vogue at the moment, so fix on of the
grossly misnamed directories.  We usually never use "virtual" as
a shortcut for virtualization in the kernel, but always virt,
as seen in the virt/ top-level directory.  Fix up the documentation
to match that.

 5.2.  It contains all of the remaining GPLv2 and GPLv2+ updates that
 were "easy" to determine by pattern matching.  The ones after this are
 going to be a bit more difficult and the people on the spdx list will be
 discussing them on a case-by-case basis now.
 
 Another 5000+ files are fixed up, so our overall totals are:
 	Files checked:            64545
 	Files with SPDX:          45529
 
 Compared to the 5.1 kernel which was:
 	Files checked:            63848
 	Files with SPDX:          22576
 This is a huge improvement.
 
 Also, we deleted another 20000 lines of boilerplate license crud, always

96085b9496 KVM: arm/arm64: vgic-v3: Retire pending interrupts on disabling LPIs
When disabling LPIs (for example on reset) at the redistributor
level, it is expected that LPIs that was pending in the CPU
interface are eventually retired.

Currently, this is not what is happening, and these LPIs will
stay in the ap_list, eventually being acknowledged by the vcpu
(which didn't quite expect this behaviour).

The fix is thus to retire these LPIs from the list of pending
interrupts as we disable LPIs.

ca71228b42 arm64: KVM: Always set ICH_HCR_EL2.EN if GICv4 is enabled
The normal interrupt flow is not to enable the vgic when no virtual
interrupt is to be injected (i.e. the LRs are empty). But when a guest
is likely to use GICv4 for LPIs, we absolutely need to switch it on
at all times. Otherwise, VLPIs only get delivered when there is something
in the LRs, which doesn't happen very often.

ab2d5eb03d KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Always initialize the group of private IRQs
We currently initialize the group of private IRQs during
kvm_vgic_vcpu_init, and the value of the group depends on the GIC model
we are emulating.  However, CPUs created before creating (and
initializing) the VGIC might end up with the wrong group if the VGIC
is created as GICv3 later.

Since we have no enforced ordering of creating the VGIC and creating
VCPUs, we can end up with part the VCPUs being properly intialized and
the remaining incorrectly initialized.  That also means that we have no
single place to do the per-cpu data structure initialization which
depends on knowing the emulated GIC model (which is only the group
field).

This patch removes the incorrect comment from kvm_vgic_vcpu_init and
initializes the group of all previously created VCPUs's private
interrupts in vgic_init in addition to the existing initialization in
kvm_vgic_vcpu_init.

107352a249 arm/arm64: KVM: vgic: Force VM halt when changing the active state of GICv3 PPIs/SGIs
We currently only halt the guest when a vCPU messes with the active
state of an SPI. This is perfectly fine for GICv2, but isn't enough
for GICv3, where all vCPUs can access the state of any other vCPU.

Let's broaden the condition to include any GICv3 interrupt that
has an active state (i.e. all but LPIs).

c23b2e6fc4 KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Fix off-by-one bug in vgic_get_irq()
When using the nospec API, it should be taken into account that:

"...if the CPU speculates past the bounds check then
 * array_index_nospec() will clamp the index within the range of [0,
 * size)."

The above is part of the header for macro array_index_nospec() in
linux/nospec.h

Now, in this particular case, if intid evaluates to exactly VGIC_MAX_SPI
or to exaclty VGIC_MAX_PRIVATE, the array_index_nospec() macro ends up
returning VGIC_MAX_SPI - 1 or VGIC_MAX_PRIVATE - 1 respectively, instead
of VGIC_MAX_SPI or VGIC_MAX_PRIVATE, which, based on the original logic:

	/* SGIs and PPIs */
	if (intid <= VGIC_MAX_PRIVATE)
 		return &vcpu->arch.vgic_cpu.private_irqs[intid];

 	/* SPIs */
	if (intid <= VGIC_MAX_SPI)

are valid values for intid.

Fix this by calling array_index_nospec() macro with VGIC_MAX_PRIVATE + 1
and VGIC_MAX_SPI + 1 as arguments for its parameter size.

2e2f6c3c0b KVM: arm/arm64: vgic: Do not cond_resched_lock() with IRQs disabled
To change the active state of an MMIO, halt is requested for all vcpus of
the affected guest before modifying the IRQ state. This is done by calling
cond_resched_lock() in vgic_mmio_change_active(). However interrupts are
disabled at this point and we cannot reschedule a vcpu.

We actually don't need any of this, as kvm_arm_halt_guest ensures that
all the other vcpus are out of the guest. Let's just drop that useless
code.

When restoring the active state from userspace, we don't know which CPU
was the source for the active state, and this is not architecturally
exposed in any of the register state.

Set the active_source to 0 in this case.  In the future, we can expand
on this and exposse the information as additional information to
userspace for GICv2 if anyone cares.

8ad50c8985 vgic: Add support for 52bit guest physical address
Add support for handling 52bit guest physical address to the
VGIC layer. So far we have limited the guest physical address
to 48bits, by explicitly masking the upper bits. This patch
removes the restriction. We do not have to check if the host
supports 52bit as the gpa is always validated during an access.
(e.g, kvm_{read/write}_guest, kvm_is_visible_gfn()).
Also, the ITS table save-restore is also not affected with
the enhancement. The DTE entries already store the bits[51:8]
of the ITT_addr (with a 256byte alignment).
