In at91_add_device_nand(), do not configure the Static Memory
controller with specific timing values.
The *_devices.c files are board independent, and the SMC timing values
are specific to the NAND devices that are installed on the board.
The board-specific files are now responsible for configuring the
Static Memory controller (if the don't want to leave it up to a
bootloader).

Add a structure 'sam9_smc_config' and function sam9_smc_configure() to
allow the board-specific files to specify the configuration of the
Static Memory Controller per chip-select. This allows the board file
to specify timings for NAND flash, NOR flash or other external
peripherals.
This functionality can be used for all the SAM9 and CAP9 processors.

When ISA_DMA_API is unset, we're not implementing the ISA DMA API,
so there's no point in publishing the prototypes via asm/dma.h, nor
including the machine dependent parts of that API.
This allows us to remove a lot of mach/dma.h files which don't contain
any useful code. Unfortunately though, some platforms put their own
private non-ISA definitions into mach/dma.h, so we leave these behind
and fix the appropriate #include statments.

Let's provide an overridable default instead of having every machine
class define __virt_to_bus and __bus_to_virt to the same thing. What
most platforms are using is bus_addr == phys_addr so such is the default.
One exception is ebsa110 which has no DMA what so ever, so the actual
definition is not important except only for proper compilation. Also
added a comment about the special footbridge bus translation.
Let's also remove comments alluding to set_dma_addr which is not
(and should not) be commonly used.

If the user specified a fixed framebuffer address on the command line, it may
have been initialized already with a splash image or something, so we
shouldn't clear it.
Therefore, we should only initialize the framebuffer if we allocated it
ourselves. This patch also updates the AVR32 setup code to clear the
framebuffer if it allocated it itself, i.e. the user didn't provide a fixed
address or the reservation failed.
I've updated the at91 platform code as well so that it initializes the
framebuffer if it is located in SRAM, but I haven't tested that it actually

Update AT91SAM9/CAP9 PIT driver to use generic time and clockevent
infrastructure:
- Clocksource gives sub-microsecond timestamp precision, assuming
memory is clocked at over 16 MHz. It's less than a 32 bit counter,
unless it's is also generating IRQs.
- Clockevent device supports periodic mode only; no oneshot
support from this hardware. No IRQs generated unless it's the
active clocksource.
Later, another timer (probably from a TC module) can provide a oneshot
clockevent device to get NO_HZ and High-Res-Timer behavior.
This also updates the timekeeping to use the actual master clock rate
on the system, instead of compile-time <asm/arch/timex.h> constants
matching what Atmel's EK boards use. (Product boards may well differ!)
Plus cleanup: rename "*_timer*" symbols to "*_pit*" (there are other
timers, but only one PIT); shorter lines; remove needless CPP stuff;
make several symbols static; etc.

The AT91CAP9 processor includes the same Static Memory Controller
(SMC) peripheral as the SAM9 processors, but replaces the SDRAM
Controller with a DDR/SDR Controller (DDRSDRC).
This patch splits the existing
include/asm-arm/arch-at91/at91sam926x_mc.h into at91sam9_sdramc.h and
at91sam9_smc.h.
It also adds an at91cap9_ddrsdr.h for the DDRSDRC controller.

WARNING: arch/arm/mach-at91/built-in.o(.text+0xd74): Section mismatch in reference
from the function init_programmable_clock()
to the function .init.text:at91_css_to_clk()
The function init_programmable_clock() references
the function __init at91_css_to_clk().
This is often because init_programmable_clock lacks a __init
annotation or the annotation of at91_css_to_clk is wrong.
In this case the only calls to and from init_programmable_clock()
are from code marked as "__init", so this fix is trivially correct.

On the sam9 EK boards, the LCD backlight is hooked up to a PWM output from
the LCD controller. It's controlled by "contrast" registers though.
This patch lets boards declare that they have that kind of backlight
control. The driver can then export this control, letting screenblank and
other operations actually take effect ... reducing the typically
substantial power drain from the backlight.
Note that it's not fully cooked
- doesn't force backlight off during system suspend
- the "power" and "blank" events may not be done right
This should be easily added in the future.

Currently early kernel messages, i.e., those from uncompression, go to the
debugging UART. And if it is enabled in the platform configuration, but
not initialized by the bootloader, the machine hangs, waiting for UART
status change. Besides, having those messages on another UART - typically
the console UART - may be preferrable. This patch allows selecting the
UART in kernel configuration.

On the at91sam9263, IRQs for GPIO banks C and D don't currently work.
This is because banks C, D, and E share one clock and toplevel IRQ, but
the AT91 code setting up and handling GPIO IRQs expects no sharing.
This patch:
- Fixes GPIO IRQ setup and handling to cope with GPIO banks that are
shared like on sam9263 chips, by setting up a list of those banks
and making the IRQ dispatching logic scan that list.
- Precomputes the address of each bank's registers, saving it with
other per-bank data so that it no longer needs to be constantly
recomputed during IRQs and other GPIO operations. That shrinks
hot-path code, while helping the GPIO bank irq updates.
- Fixes a minor bug where IRQ_TYPE_NONE was wrongly rejected (it just
means "use the default", which is "both edges" here).

On ACPI systems the target state set by acpi_pm_set_target() is
reset by acpi_pm_finish(), but that need not be called if the
suspend fails. All platforms that use the .set_target() global
suspend callback are affected by analogous issues.
For this reason, we need an additional global suspend callback that
will reset the target state regardless of whether or not the suspend
is successful. Also, it is reasonable to rename the .set_target()
callback, since it will be used for a different purpose on ACPI
systems (due to ACPI 1.0x code ordering requirements).
Introduce the global suspend callback .end() to be executed at the
end of the suspend sequence and rename the .set_target() global
suspend callback to .begin().

The name of 'struct pm_ops' suggests that it is related to the power
management in general, but in fact it is only related to suspend. Moreover,
its name should indicate what this structure is used for, so it seems
reasonable to change it to 'struct platform_suspend_ops'. In that case, the
name of the global variable of this type used by the PM core and the names of
related functions should be changed accordingly.

Move the definition of 'struct pm_ops' and related functions from <linux/pm.h>
to <linux/suspend.h> .
There are, at least, the following reasons to do that:
* 'struct pm_ops' is specifically related to suspend and not to the power
management in general.
* As long as 'struct pm_ops' is defined in <linux/pm.h>, any modification of it
causes the entire kernel to be recompiled, which is unnecessary and annoying.
* Some suspend-related features are already defined in <linux/suspend.h>, so it
is logical to move the definition of 'struct pm_ops' into there.
* 'struct hibernation_ops', being the hibernation-related counterpart of
'struct pm_ops', is defined in <linux/suspend.h> .

GENERIC_TIME and GENERIC_CLOCKEVENTS support for the at91rm9200.
- Oneshot mode (used for NO_HZ and high res timers) uses the
alarm to emulate a real oneshot timer; the trickiest bit is
how to avoid some lowlevel races. Thanks to Remy Bohmer for
various fixes to this code.
- Tighten up periodic mode support using the PIT.
- Streamline reads of the 32KHz counter. Thanks to Marc Pignat
for some testing results: the CRTR register has *very* odd
behavior. The reread appears to work around stranger glitches
than just getting an old clock value (which would quickly
self-correct).
- Remove the rounding-up of tick_usec to 10.009 msec (32KiHz/100),
since that no longer acts correct (time increases too fast).
Note that the at91sam9 and at91x40 chips need other solutions,

ordering to execute pm_ops->prepare() after the device model per-device
.suspend() calls in order to fix some ACPI-related issues. Unfortunately, it
broke the at91 platform which assumed that pm_ops->prepare() would be called
before suspending devices.
at91 used pm_ops->prepare() to get notified of the target system sleep state,
so that it could use this information while suspending devices. However, with
the current suspend code ordering pm_ops->prepare() is called too late for
this purpose. Thus, at91 needs an additional method in 'struct pm_ops' that
will be used for notifying the platform of the target system sleep state.
Moreover, in the future such a method will also be needed by ACPI.
This patch adds the .set_target() method to 'struct pm_ops' and makes the
suspend code call it, if implemented, before executing the device model
per-device .suspend() calls. It also modifies the at91 code to use
pm_ops->set_target() instead of pm_ops->prepare().

When suspending to slow-clock mode, at91_pm_verify_clocks() is called to
ensure that all the clocks are disabled or in the correct state.

The number of programmable clocks available on the AT91 processors can
differ, therefore do not always display the contents of the PMC_PCKR(0)
.. PMC_PCKR(3) registers (ie, assume there are 4 clocks).
If CONFIG_AT91_PROGRAMMABLE_CLOCKS is enabled, the programmable clocks
will be registered like the other system/peripheral clocks, and the
state of the programmable clocks will be displayed like with the other
clocks.

This patch series cleans up some misconceptions about pm_ops. Some users of
the pm_ops structure attempt to use it to stop the user from entering suspend
to disk, this, however, is not possible since the user can always use
"shutdown" in /sys/power/disk and then the pm_ops are never invoked. Also,
platforms that don't support suspend to disk simply should not allow
configuring SOFTWARE_SUSPEND (read the help text on it, it only selects
suspend to disk and nothing else, all the other stuff depends on PM).
The pm_ops structure is actually intended to provide a way to enter
platform-defined sleep states (currently supported states are "standby" and
"mem" (suspend to ram)) and additionally (if SOFTWARE_SUSPEND is configured)
allows a platform to support a platform specific way to enter low-power mode
once everything has been saved to disk. This is currently only used by ACPI
(S4).
This patch:
The pm_ops.pm_disk_mode is used in totally bogus ways since nobody really
seems to understand what it actually does.
This patch clarifies the pm_disk_mode description.
It also removes all the arm and sh users that think they can veto suspend to
disk via pm_ops; not so since the user can always do echo shutdown >
/sys/power/disk, they need to find a better way involving Kconfig or such.
ACPI is the only user left with a non-zero pm_disk_mode.
The patch also sets the default mode to shutdown again, but when a new pm_ops
is registered its pm_disk_mode is selected as default, that way the default
stays for ACPI where it is apparently required.

Andrew Morton found a section mismatch warning in x86_64 triggered by a
wrongly placed __initdata marker.
git grep "struct __initdata" revealed that board-sam9260.c had the same
problem.
This patch fixes this by placing the __initdata marker correct. It was
checked with objdump that the variable was moved to .init.data by this
change.
Fixed an unrelated section mismatch warning while touching the file.
Both changes are only compile tested but obvious correct.

It's been pointed out that output GPIOs should have an initial value, to
avoid signal glitching ... among other things, it can be some time before
a driver is ready. This patch corrects that oversight, fixing
- documentation
- platforms supporting the GPIO interface
- users of that call (just one for now, others are pending)
There's only one user of this call for now since most platforms are still
using non-generic GPIO setup code, which in most cases already couples the
initial value with its "set output mode" request.
Note that most platforms are clear about the hardware letting the output
value be set before the pin direction is changed, but the s3c241x docs are
vague on that topic ... so those chips might not avoid the glitches.
