Commit 0bc825d240 ("codafs: fix compile warning when CONFIG_SYSCTL=n")
introduces build breakage, when CONFIG_PROC_SYSCTL=n and
CONFIG_CODA_FS=y:

  fs/built-in.o: In function `init_coda':
  psdev.c:(.init.text+0xc02): undefined reference to `coda_sysctl_init'
  psdev.c:(.init.text+0xc7c): undefined reference to `coda_sysctl_clean'
  fs/built-in.o: In function `exit_coda':
  psdev.c:(.exit.text+0xa9): undefined reference to `coda_sysctl_clean'

Rakib Mullick 0bc825d240 codafs: fix compile warning when CONFIG_SYSCTL=n
When CONFIG_SYSCTL=n, we get the following warning:

fs/coda/sysctl.c:18: warning: `coda_tabl' defined but not used

Fix the warning by making sure coda_table and it's callee function are in
the same context. Also clean up the code by removing extra #ifdef.

Eric W. Biederman 6d4561110a sysctl: Drop & in front of every proc_handler.
For consistency drop & in front of every proc_handler. Explicity
taking the address is unnecessary and it prevents optimizations
like stubbing the proc_handlers to NULL.

Eric W. Biederman ab09203e30 sysctl fs: Remove dead binary sysctl support
Now that sys_sysctl is a generic wrapper around /proc/sys .ctl_name
and .strategy members of sysctl tables are dead code. Remove them.

Richard A. Holden III 87d1fda5e2 coda: fix fs/coda/sysctl.c build warnings when !CONFIG_SYSCTL
Fix
fs/coda/sysctl.c:14: warning: 'fs_table_header' defined but not used
fs/coda/sysctl.c:44: warning: 'fs_table' defined but not used

these are only used when CONFIG_SYSCTL is defined.

Eric W. Biederman 0b4d414714 [PATCH] sysctl: remove insert_at_head from register_sysctl
The semantic effect of insert_at_head is that it would allow new registered
sysctl entries to override existing sysctl entries of the same name. Which is
pain for caching and the proc interface never implemented.

I have done an audit and discovered that none of the current users of
register_sysctl care as (excpet for directories) they do not register
duplicate sysctl entries.

So this patch simply removes the support for overriding existing entries in
the sys_sysctl interface since no one uses it or cares and it makes future
enhancments harder.

Eric W. Biederman fd6065b4fd [PATCH] sysctl: C99 convert coda ctl_tables and remove binary sysctls
Will converting the coda sysctl initializers I discovered that it is yet
another user of sysctl that was stomping CTL_KERN. So off with it's
sys_sysctl support since it wasn't done in a supportable way.

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
