Aneesh Kumar K.V 73f507171c fs/9p: Always ask new inode in lookup for cache mode disabled
This make sure we don't end up reusing the unlinked inode object.
The ideal way is to use inode i_generation. But i_generation is
not available in userspace always.

Aneesh Kumar K.V 5441ae5eb3 fs/9p: Add fid before dentry instantiation
d_instantiate marks the dentry positive. So a parallel lookup and mkdir of
the directory can find dentry that doesn't have fid attached. This can result
in both the code path doing v9fs_fid_add which results in v9fs_dentry leak.

Mark Brown 5204f5e3f5 regmap: Remove bitrotted module_put()s
The conversion to per bus type registration functions means we don't need
to do module_get()s to hold the bus types in memory (their users will link
to them) so we removed all those calls. This left module_put() calls in
the cleanup paths which aren't needed and which cause unbalanced puts if
we ever try to unload anything.

Jonas Bonn d7cb666709 openrisc: don't use pt_regs in struct sigcontext
As it was decided not to export struct pt_regs to userspace, struct
sigcontext shouldn't be using it either. The pt_regs struct for OpenRISC
is kernel internal and the layout of the registers may change in the
future. The struct user_regs_struct is what is guaranteed to remain
stable, so struct sigcontext may use that instead.

This patch removes the usage of struct pt_regs in struct sigcontext and
makes according changes in signal.c to get the register layout right.

The usp field is removed from the sigcontext structure as this information
is already contained in the user_regs_struct.

Mark Rutland fb492c9160 ARM: 7067/1: mm: keep significant bits in pfn_valid
When ARCH_HAS_HOLES_MEMORYMODEL is selected, pfn_valid calls
memblock_is_memory to test validity of a pfn:

> memblock_is_memory(pfn << PAGE_SHIFT);

On LPAE systems this cuts off the top bits, as the shift occurs before
the value is promoted to a phys_addr_t.

This patch replaces the shift with a call to __pfn_to_phys (which casts
pfn to phys_addr_t before shifting), preventing the loss of significant
bits.

Chris Rankin 0b8bd83cf3 [media] em28xx: don't sleep on disconnect
The DVB framework will try to power-down an adapter that no-one is using

likely to result in build failure or unexpected behavior.

Dan Carpenter e9013fb6eb [media] ddbridge: fix ddb_ioctl()
There were a several problems in this function:

1) Potential integer overflow in the comparison:
	if (fio.write_len + fio.read_len > 1028) {

2) If the user gave bogus values for write_len and read_len then
returning -EINVAL is more appropriate than returning -ENOMEM.

3) wbuf was set to the address of an array and could never be NULL
so I removed the pointless NULL check.

4) The call to vfree(wbuf) was improper. That array is part of a
larger struct and isn't allocated by itself.

5) flashio() can't actually fail, but we may as well add error
handling in case this changes later.

6) In the default case where an ioctl is not implemented then
returning -ENOTTY is more appropriate than returning -EFAULT.
