Gregory CLEMENT 3cd2c313f1 dmaengine: mv_xor_v2: Fix clock resource by adding a register clock
On the CP110 components which are present on the Armada 7K/8K SoC we need
to explicitly enable the clock for the registers. However it is not
needed for the AP8xx component, that's why this clock is optional.

With this patch both clock have now a name, but in order to be backward
compatible, the name of the first clock is not used. It allows to still
use this clock with a device tree using the old binding.

Pull RCU updates from Paul E. McKenney:

 - Miscellaneous fixes, perhaps most notably removing obsolete
code whose only purpose in life was to gather information for
the now-removed RCU debugfs facility. Other notable changes
include removing NO_HZ_FULL_ALL in favor of the nohz_full kernel
boot parameter, minor optimizations for expedited grace periods,
some added tracing, creating an RCU-specific workqueue using Tejun's
new WQ_MEM_RECLAIM flag, and several cleanups to code and comments.

 - SRCU cleanups and optimizations.

 - Torture-test updates, perhaps most notably the adding of ARMv8
support, but also including numerous cleanups and usability fixes.

Arnd Bergmann fd8773f9f5 arch: remove frv port
The Fujitsu FRV kernel port has been around for a long time, but has not
seen regular updates in several years and instead was marked 'Orphaned'
in 2016 by long-time maintainer David Howells.

The SoC product line apparently is apparently still around in the form
of the Socionext Milbeaut image processor, but this one no longer uses
the FRV CPU cores.

This removes all FRV specific files from the kernel.

Dave Hansen 7f5d465f4d docs: clarify security-bugs disclosure policy
I think we need to soften the language a bit. It might scare folks
off, especially the:

We prefer to fully disclose the bug as soon as possible.

which is not really the case. Linus says:

It's not full disclosure, it's not coordinated disclosure,
and it's not "no disclosure". It's more like just "timely
	open fixes".

I changed a bit of the wording in here, but mostly to remove the word
"disclosure" since it seems to mean very specific things to people
that we do not mean here.

Linus Torvalds a525df0558 powerpc fixes for 4.16 #5
One notable fix to properly advertise our support for a new firmware feature,
caused by two series conflicting semantically but not textually.

There's a new ioctl for the new ocxl driver, which is not a fix, but needed to
complete the userspace API and good to have before the driver is in a released
 kernel.

Finally three minor selftest fixes, and a fix for intermittent build failures
for some obscure platforms, caused by a missing make dependency.

Eric Dumazet 79134e6ce2 net: do not create fallback tunnels for non-default namespaces
fallback tunnels (like tunl0, gre0, gretap0, erspan0, sit0,
ip6tnl0, ip6gre0) are automatically created when the corresponding
module is loaded.

These tunnels are also automatically created when a new network
namespace is created, at a great cost.

In many cases, netns are used for isolation purposes, and these
extra network devices are a waste of resources. We are using
thousands of netns per host, and hit the netns creation/delete
bottleneck a lot. (Many thanks to Kirill for recent work on this)

Add a new sysctl so that we can opt-out from this automatic creation.

Note that these tunnels are still created for the initial namespace,
to be the least intrusive for typical setups.

David S. Miller cfda06d736 Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/bpf/bpf
Daniel Borkmann says:

====================
pull-request: bpf 2018-03-08

The following pull-request contains BPF updates for your *net* tree.

The main changes are:

1) Fix various BPF helpers which adjust the skb and its GSO information
with regards to SCTP GSO. The latter is a special case where gso_size
is of value GSO_BY_FRAGS, so mangling that will end up corrupting
the skb, thus bail out when seeing SCTP GSO packets, from Daniel(s).

2) Fix a compilation error in bpftool where BPF_FS_MAGIC is not defined
due to too old kernel headers in the system, from Jiri.

3) Increase the number of x64 JIT passes in order to allow larger images
to converge instead of punting them to interpreter or having them
rejected when the interpreter is not built into the kernel, from Daniel.

All of the conflicts were cases of overlapping changes.

In net/core/devlink.c, we have to make care that the
resouce size_params have become a struct member rather
than a pointer to such an object.

Masahiro Yamada 788778b0d2 mmc: tmio: deprecate "toshiba, mmc-wrprotect-disable" DT property
This property is equivalent to "disable-wp" defined in
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/mmc/mmc.txt

The TMIO MMC core calls mmc_of_parse(), and it sets
MMC_CAP2_NO_WRITE_PROTECT if "disable-wp" property is present.

We do not need a vendor-specific property to do the same thing.

Let's remove the description from the dt-binding to prevent new boards
from using it.

I am keeping the driver code for existing DT files, but added
comments that this is deprecated.

David Ahern b4bac172e9 net/ipv6: Add support for path selection using hash of 5-tuple
Some operators prefer IPv6 path selection to use a standard 5-tuple
hash rather than just an L3 hash with the flow the label. To that end
add support to IPv6 for multipath hash policy similar to bf4e0a3db9
("net: ipv4: add support for ECMP hash policy choice"). The default
is still L3 which covers source and destination addresses along with

Daniel Axtens d02f51cbcf bpf: fix bpf_skb_adjust_net/bpf_skb_proto_xlat to deal with gso sctp skbs
SCTP GSO skbs have a gso_size of GSO_BY_FRAGS, so any sort of
unconditionally mangling of that will result in nonsense value
and would corrupt the skb later on.

Therefore, i) add two helpers skb_increase_gso_size() and
skb_decrease_gso_size() that would throw a one time warning and
bail out for such skbs and ii) refuse and return early with an
error in those BPF helpers that are affected. We do need to bail
out as early as possible from there before any changes on the
skb have been performed.

Niklas Cassel 928af22477 pinctrl: artpec6: dt: add smaller groups for uarts
Add group configuration for uarts that are cut down
variants, the standard being full, i.e. all signals,
flow control, i.e. rx/tx and cts/rts, and rx/tx only.

This allows us to be more precise in which pins we're
actually using.

Unfortunately the existing naming scheme leaves things
to be desired, e.g. uart3grp0 means RX/TX and CTS/RTS,
yet uart0grp0 means all pins.
Since the exising suffixes have different meaning for
different uarts, and the fact that we cannot change
the name of existing groups, makes it hard to use a
descriptive name for the newly added groups.

Jan H. Schönherr ef61f8a340 x86/boot/e820: Implement a range manipulation operator
Add a more versatile memmap= operator, which -- in addition to all the
things that were possible before -- allows you to:

- redeclare existing ranges -- before, you were limited to adding ranges;
- drop any range -- like a mem= for any location;
- use any e820 memory type -- not just some predefined ones.

The syntax is:

  memmap=<size>%<offset>-<oldtype>+<newtype>

Size and offset work as usual. The "-<oldtype>" and "+<newtype>" are
optional and their existence determine the behavior: The command
works on the specified range of memory limited to type <oldtype>
(if specified). This memory is then configured to show up as <newtype>.
If <newtype> is not specified, the memory is removed from the e820 map.

  drm_mm:

  cirrus:

Lastly there is a deadlock fix around runtime suspend for secondary
  GPUs.

There was a deadlock between one thread trying to wait for a workqueue
job to finish in the runtime suspend path, and the workqueue job it
was waiting for in turn waiting for a runtime_get_sync to return.

The fixes avoids it by not doing the runtime sync in the workqueue as

However, A83T TV TCON, which is connected to HDMI, doesn't have channel 0,
contrary to all TCONs currently described. Because of that, TCON
documentation is extended.

A83T features Synopsys DW HDMI controller with a custom PHY which looks
like Synopsys Gen2 PHY with few additions. Since there is no
documentation, needed properties were found out through experimentation
and reading BSP code.

At the end, example is added for newer SoCs, which feature DE2 and DW
HDMI.

Paul E. McKenney a7c8655b07 sched/isolation: Eliminate NO_HZ_FULL_ALL
Commit 6f1982fedd ("sched/isolation: Handle the nohz_full= parameter")
broke CONFIG_NO_HZ_FULL_ALL=y kernels. This breakage is due to the code
under CONFIG_NO_HZ_FULL_ALL failing to invoke the shiny new housekeeping
functions. This means that rcutorture scenario TREE04 now emits RCU CPU
stall warnings due to the RCU grace-period kthreads not being awakened
at a time of their choosing, or perhaps even not at all:

[   27.731422] rcu_bh kthread starved for 21001 jiffies! g18446744073709551369 c18446744073709551368 f0x0 RCU_GP_WAIT_FQS(3) ->state=0x402 ->cpu=3
[ 27.731423] rcu_bh I14936 9 2 0x80080000

[ 27.731458] ? rcu_gp_kthread+0x66c/0xea0

Because no one has complained about CONFIG_NO_HZ_FULL_ALL=y being broken,
I hypothesize that no one is in fact using it, other than rcutorture.
This commit therefore eliminates CONFIG_NO_HZ_FULL_ALL and updates
rcutorture's config files to instead use the nohz_full= kernel parameter
to put the desired CPUs into nohz_full mode.

Fixes: 6f1982fedd ("sched/isolation: Handle the nohz_full= parameter")
