Pull ARM updates from Russell King:
"This contains the usual updates from other people (listed below) and
the usual random muddle of miscellaneous ARM updates which cover some
low priority bug fixes and performance improvements.
I've started to put the pull request wording into the merge commits,
which are:
- NoMMU stuff:
This includes the following series sent earlier to the list:
- nommu-fixes
- R7 Support
- MPU support
I've left out the ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM/!MMU stuff that Arnd and I
were discussing today until we've reached a conclusion/that's had
some more review.
This is rebased (and re-tested) on your devel-stable branch because
otherwise there were going to be conflicts with Uwe's V7M work now
that you've merged that. I've included the fix for limiting MPU to
CPU_V7.
- Huge page support
These changes bring both HugeTLB support and Transparent HugePage
(THP) support to ARM. Only long descriptors (LPAE) are supported
in this series.
The code has been tested on an Arndale board (Exynos 5250).
- LPAE updates
Please pull these miscellaneous LPAE fixes I've been collecting for
a while now for 3.11. They've been tested and reviewed by quite a
few people, and most of the patches are pretty trivial. -- Will Deacon.
- arch_timer cleanups
Please pull these arch_timer cleanups I've been holding onto for a
while. They're the same as my last posting, but have been rebased
to v3.10-rc3.
- mpidr linearisation (multiprocessor id register - identifies which
CPU number we are in the system)
This patch series that implements MPIDR linearization through a
simple hashing algorithm and updates current cpu_{suspend}/{resume}
code to use the newly created hash structures to retrieve context
pointers. It represents a stepping stone for the implementation of
power management code on forthcoming multi-cluster ARM systems.
It has been tested on TC2 (dual cluster A15xA7 system), iMX6q,
OMAP4 and Tegra, with processors hitting low-power states requiring
warm-boot resume through the cpu_resume code path"

It's inappropriate to call clk_prepare() in mxc_restart(), because the
restart routine could be called in atomic context. Move clk_get() and
clk_prepare() into mxc_arch_reset_init() and only have the atomic part
clk_enable() be called in mxc_restart().
As a result, mxc_arch_reset_init() needs to be called after clk gets
initialized.
While there, it also changes printk(KERN_ERR ...) to pr_err() and adds
__init annotation for mxc_arch_reset_init().

mxc_device_init() is a core_initcall function used to register devices
for mxc_aips_bus and mxc_ahb_bus, which are needed by gpio and dma
device registration.
Instead of being a core_initcall function, we have it called in soc
specific initialization function before gpio and dma devices get
registered, so that it will not be called for other platforms when
we enable multi-platform support for imx.

This does a sweeping change fixing up all the missing system_misc.h and

ones I came across when building all defconfigs in arch/arm/configs, there
might be more but they lack adequate build coverage to be easily caught.

Pull #1 ARM updates from Russell King:
"This one covers stuff which Arnd is waiting for me to push, as this is
shared between both our trees and probably other trees elsewhere.
Essentially, this contains:
- AMBA primecell device initializer updates - mostly shrinking the
size of the device declarations in platform code to something more
reasonable.
- Getting rid of the NO_IRQ crap from AMBA primecell stuff.
- Nicolas' idle cleanups. This in combination with the restart
cleanups from the last merge window results in a great many
mach/system.h files being deleted."
Yay: ~80 files, ~2000 lines deleted.

ARM: mx3: Setup AIPS registers
ARM: mx3: Let mx31 and mx35 enter in LPM mode in WFI
Conflicts:
arch/arm/mach-imx/mm-imx3.c
It was observed on a mx31pdk board that audio playback only worked when the bootloader was Redboot, and
did not work when U-boot was used.
Comparing the sources of these bootloaders showed that the AIPS registers were not setup in U-boot.
Instead of relying on the bootloader to setup the AIPS registers, do it in the kernel so that audio
playback can work independantly of the bootloader being used.
Copied the AIPS settings from Redboot to the kernel.

The LPM field of register CCMR is used to select the mode that the processor will run
when it goes to WFI.
When mx31 enters in WFI mode the LPM field is at its reset value of 0,
which configures the mx31 to enter in "wait mode".
On mx35, the LPM field on mx35 is also at 0 after reset, which corresponds
to "run mode" instead of "wait mode".
Instead of relying on the reset value of LPM to set the low power mode for
WFI, configure mx31 and mx35 to run in "wait mode"

Fix the following section mismatch:
WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0x11be8): Section mismatch in reference from the function imx3_init_l2x0() to the function .init.text:l2x0_init()
The function imx3_init_l2x0() references
the function __init l2x0_init().
This is often because imx3_init_l2x0 lacks a __init
annotation or the annotation of l2x0_init is wrong.

The patch removes imx_idle hook and use pm_idle instead to get imx
arch_idle prepared for the cleanup. It's suggested by Russel King

The mxc_init_l2x0() should really be an imx31/35 specific call.
The patch removes early_initcall from mxc_init_l2x0() and get imx31
and imx35 soc specific function calls mxc_init_l2x0(), so that it's
not necessarily to be called for all imx socs when we build single
image for multiple imx socs.
Thus the function can be renamed to imx3_init_l2x0() and put into
mm-imx3.c. It also changes the return type from integer to void.
From what I see, the integer was picked just to satisfy early_initcall
prototype.
With the patch 'ARM: l2x0: add empty l2x0_of_init' applied, the code
compiles even without CONFIG_CACHE_L2X0 enabled.
