Daniel P. Berrange 2a8e21c7c8 sockets: move qapi_copy_SocketAddress into qemu-sockets.c
The qapi_copy_SocketAddress method is going to be useful
in more places than just qemu-char.c, so move it into
the qemu-sockets.c file to allow its reuse.

Daniel P. Berrange 17c55decec sockets: add helpers for creating SocketAddress from a socket
Add two helper methods that, given a socket file descriptor,
can return a populated SocketAddress struct containing either
the local or remote address information.

Add QEMUFile interface to allow a socket to be 'shut down' - i.e. any
reads/writes will fail (and any blocking read/write will be woken).

Wenchao Xia 7cfadb6b52 qapi event: convert SPICE events
SPICE_INITIALIZED, SPICE_CONNECTED, SPICE_DISCONNECTED and
SPICE_MIGRATE_COMPLETED are converted in one patch, since they
use some common functions. inet_strfamily() is removed since no
callers exist anymore.

Note that there is no existing doc for SPICE_MIGRATE_COMPLETED
in docs/qmp/qmp-events.txt before this patch.

Wenchao Xia a589569f2f qapi: adjust existing defines
In order to let event defines use existing types later, instead of
redefine new ones, some old type defines for spice and vnc are changed,
and BlockErrorAction is moved from block.h to qapi schema. Note that
BlockErrorAction is not merged with BlockdevOnError.

At this point, VncInfo is not made a child of VncBasicInfo, because
VncBasicInfo has mandatory fields where VncInfo makes them optional.

Sebastian Ottlik 606600a176 util: add socket_set_fast_reuse function which will replace setting SO_REUSEADDR
If a socket is closed it remains in TIME_WAIT state for some time. On operating
systems using BSD sockets the endpoint of the socket may not be reused while in
this state unless SO_REUSEADDR was set on the socket. On windows on the other
hand the default behaviour is to allow reuse (i.e. identical to SO_REUSEADDR on
other operating systems) and setting SO_REUSEADDR on a socket allows it to be
bound to a endpoint even if the endpoint is already used by another socket
independently of the other sockets state. This can even result in undefined
behaviour.

Many sockets used by QEMU should not block the use of their endpoint after being
closed while they are still in TIME_WAIT state. Currently QEMU sets SO_REUSEADDR
for such sockets, which can lead to problems on Windows. This patch introduces
the function socket_set_fast_reuse that should be used instead of setting
SO_REUSEADDR when fast socket reuse is desired and behaves correctly on all
operating systems.

As a failure of this function can only be caused by bad QEMU internal errors, an
assertion handles these situations. The return value is still passed on, to
minimize changes in client code and prevent unused variable warnings if NDEBUG
is defined.

Kevin Wolf f17c90bed1 nbd: Keep hostname and port separate
The NBD block supports an URL syntax, for which a URL parser returns
separate hostname and port fields. It also supports the traditional qemu
syntax encoded in a filename. Until now, after parsing the URL to get
each piece of information, a new string is built to be fed to socket
functions.

Instead of building a string in the URL case that is immediately parsed
again, parse the string in both cases and use the QemuOpts interface to
qemu-sockets.c.

Stefan Berger 4549a8b7ee Add a TPM Passthrough backend driver implementation
This patch is based of off version 9 of Stefan Berger's patch series
"QEMU Trusted Platform Module (TPM) integration"
and adds a new backend driver for it.

This patch adds a passthrough backend driver for passing commands sent to the
emulated TPM device directly to a TPM device opened on the host machine.
Thus it is possible to use a hardware TPM device in a system running on QEMU,
providing the ability to access a TPM in a special state (e.g. after a Trusted
Boot).

This functionality is being used in the acTvSM Trusted Virtualization Platform
which is available on [1].

Usage example:
  qemu-system-x86_64 -tpmdev passthrough,id=tpm0,path=/dev/tpm0 \
                     -device tpm-tis,tpmdev=tpm0 \
                     -cdrom test.iso -boot d

Some notes about the host TPM:
The TPM needs to be enabled and activated. If that's not the case one
has to go through the BIOS/UEFI and enable and activate that TPM for TPM
commands to work as expected.
It may be necessary to boot the kernel using tpm_tis.force=1 in the boot
command line or 'modprobe tpm_tis force=1' in case of using it as a module.
