252a7a6a96 hw/intc/arm_gicv3_its: Allow save/restore
We change the restoration priority of both the GICv3 and ITS. The
GICv3 must be restored before the ITS and the ITS needs to be restored
before PCIe devices since it translates their MSI transactions.

d5aa0c229a hw/intc/arm_gicv3_kvm: Implement pending table save
This patch adds the flush of the LPI pending bits into the
redistributor pending tables. This happens on VM stop.

There is no explicit restore as the tables are implicitly sync'ed
on ITS table restore and on LPI enable at redistributor level.

cddafd8f35 hw/intc/arm_gicv3_its: Implement state save/restore
We need to handle both registers and ITS tables. While
register handling is standard, ITS table handling is more
challenging since the kernel API is devised so that the
tables are flushed into guest RAM and not in vmstate buffers.

Flushing the ITS tables on device pre_save() is too late
since the guest RAM is already saved at this point.

Table flushing needs to happen when we are sure the vcpus
are stopped and before the last dirty page saving. The
right point is RUN_STATE_FINISH_MIGRATE but sometimes the
VM gets stopped before migration launch so let's simply
flush the tables each time the VM gets stopped.

For regular ITS registers we just can use vmstate pre_save()
and post_load() callbacks.

556969e938 kvm-all: Pass an error object to kvm_device_access
In some circumstances, we don't want to abort if the
kvm_device_access fails. This will be the case during ITS
migration, in case the ITS table save/restore fails because
the guest did not program the vITS correctly. So let's pass an
error object to the function and return the ioctl value. New
callers will be able to make a decision upon this returned
value.

Existing callers pass &error_abort which will cause the
function to abort on failure.

ee78356eba hw/intc/exynos4210_gic: Use more meaningful name for local variable
There are to SysBusDevice variables in exynos4210_gic_realize()
function: one for the device itself and second for arm_gic device.  Add
a prefix "gic" to the second one so it will be easier to understand the
code.

While at it, put local uninitialized 'i' variable at the end, next to
other uninitialized ones.

b1fd36c363 xics: drop ICPStateClass::cpu_setup() handler
The cpu_setup() handler is only implemented by xics_kvm, where it really
does a typical "realize" job. Moreover, the realize() handler is called
shortly after cpu_setup(), on the same path.

This patch converts xics_kvm to implement realize() instead of cpu_setup().

9ed656631d xics: setup cpu at realize time
Until recently, spapr used to allocate ICPState objects for the lifetime
of the machine. They would only be associated to vCPUs in xics_cpu_setup()
when plugging a CPU core.

Now that ICPState objects have the same lifecycle as vCPUs, it is
possible to associate them during realization.

This patch hence open-codes xics_cpu_setup() in icp_realize(). The vCPU
is passed as a property. Note that vCPU now needs to be realized first
for the IRQs to be allocated. It also needs to resetted before ICPState
realization in order to synchronize with KVM.

Since ICPState objects are freed when unrealized, xics_cpu_destroy() isn't
needed anymore and can be safely dropped.

100f738850 xics: pass appropriate types to realize() handlers.
It makes more sense to pass an IPCState * to handlers of ICPStateClass
instead of a DeviceState *, if only to benefit from compile time type
checking. The same goes with ICSStateClass.

While here, we also change the declaration of ICPStateClass in xics.h
for consistency.

a4d4edce7a xics: add reset() handler to ICPStateClass
Taking into account that qemu_set_irq() returns immediatly if its first
argument is NULL, icp_kvm_reset() largely duplicates icp_reset().

This patch introduces a reset() handler, so that the common logic can
be implemented in icp_reset() only.

While there we can also drop icp_kvm_realize() and icp_kvm_unrealize(). This
causes icp-kvm to be realized in icp_realize(), which sets icp->xics, but
it has no impact.

64175afc69 arm_gicv3: Fix ICC_BPR1 reset value when EL3 not implemented
If EL3 is not implemented (ie only one security state) then the
one and only ICC_BPR1 register behaves like the Non-secure
ICC_BPR1 in an EL3-present configuration. In particular, its
reset value is GIC_MIN_BPR_NS, not GIC_MIN_BPR.

Correct the erroneous reset value; this fixes a problem where
we might hit the assert added in commit a89ff39ee9.

a09f7443bc target-ppc: Fix openpic timer read register offset
openpic_tmr_read() is incorrectly computing register offset of the
TCCR, TBCR, TVPR, and TDR registers when accessing the open pic timer
registers.  Specifically the offset of timer registers for
openpic_tmr_read() is not accounting for the timer frequency reporting
register (TFFR) which is the first register in the "tmr" memory
region.

openpic_tmr_write() *is* correctly computing the offset by adding
0x10f0 to the address prior to computing the register index.  This
patch instead subtracts 0x10 in both the read and write routines and
eliminates some other gratuitous differences between the functions.

29c483a506 arm: add MPU support to M profile CPUs
The M series MPU is almost the same as the already implemented R
profile MPU (v7 PMSA).  So all we need to implement here is the MPU
register interface in the system register space.

This implementation has the same restriction as the R profile MPU
that it doesn't permit regions to be sized down smaller than 1K.

We also do not yet implement support for MPU_CTRL.HFNMIENA; this
bit should if zero disable use of the MPU when running HardFault,
NMI or with FAULTMASK set to 1 (ie at an execution priority of
less than zero) -- if the MPU is enabled we don't treat these
cases any differently.

a89ff39ee9 hw/intc/arm_gicv3_cpuif: Fix priority masking for NS BPR1
When we calculate the mask to use to get the group priority from
an interrupt priority, the way that NS BPR1 is handled differs
from how BPR0 and S BPR1 work -- a BPR1 value of 1 means
the group priority is in bits [7:1], whereas for BPR0 and S BPR1
this is indicated by a 0 BPR value.

Subtract 1 from the BPR value before creating the mask if
we're using the NS BPR value, for both hardware and virtual
interrupts, as the GICv3 pseudocode does, and fix the comments
accordingly.

8193d4617c hw/intc/arm_gicv3_cpuif: Don't let BPR be set below its minimum
icc_bpr_write() was not enforcing that writing a value below the
minimum for the BPR should behave as if the BPR was set to the
minimum value. This doesn't make a difference for the secure
BPRs (since we define the minimum for the QEMU implementation
as zero) but did mean we were allowing the NS BPR1 to be set to
0 when 1 should be the lowest value.

name in the same directory.  Build system gets confused.  The only

de86eccc0c xics_kvm: cache already enabled vCPU ids
Since commit a45863bda9 ("xics_kvm: Don't enable KVM_CAP_IRQ_XICS if
already enabled"), we were able to re-hotplug a vCPU that had been hot-
unplugged ealier, thanks to a boolean flag in ICPState that we set when
enabling KVM_CAP_IRQ_XICS.

This could work because the lifecycle of all ICPState objects was the
same as the machine. Commit 5bc8d26de2 ("spapr: allocate the ICPState
object from under sPAPRCPUCore") broke this assumption and now we always
pass a freshly allocated ICPState object (ie, with the flag unset) to
icp_kvm_cpu_setup().

This cause re-hotplug to fail with:

Unable to connect CPU8 to kernel XICS: Device or resource busy

Let's fix this by caching all the vCPU ids for which KVM_CAP_IRQ_XICS was
enabled. This also drops the now useless boolean flag from ICPState.

e4f4fb1eca sysbus: Set user_creatable=false by default on TYPE_SYS_BUS_DEVICE

cannot_instantiate_with_device_add_yet in TYPE_SYSBUS, making all
sysbus devices appear on "-device help" and lack the "no-user"
flag in "info qdm".

To fix this, we can set user_creatable=false by default on
TYPE_SYS_BUS_DEVICE, but this requires setting
user_creatable=true explicitly on the sysbus devices that
actually work with -device.

Fortunately today we have just a few has_dynamic_sysbus=1
machines: virt, pc-q35-*, ppce500, and spapr.

virt, ppce500, and spapr have extra checks to ensure just a few
device types can be instantiated:

* virt supports only TYPE_VFIO_CALXEDA_XGMAC, TYPE_VFIO_AMD_XGBE.
* ppce500 supports only TYPE_ETSEC_COMMON.
* spapr supports only TYPE_SPAPR_PCI_HOST_BRIDGE.

This patch sets user_creatable=true explicitly on those 4 device
classes.

Now, the more complex cases:

pc-q35-*: q35 has no sysbus device whitelist yet (which is a
separate bug). We are in the process of fixing it and building a
sysbus whitelist on q35, but in the meantime we can fix the
"-device help" and "info qdm" bugs mentioned above. Also, despite
not being strictly necessary for fixing the q35 bug, reducing the
list of user_creatable=true devices will help us be more
confident when building the q35 whitelist.

xen: We also have a hack at xen_set_dynamic_sysbus(), that sets
has_dynamic_sysbus=true at runtime when using the Xen
accelerator. This hack is only used to allow xen-backend devices
to be dynamically plugged/unplugged.

This means today we can use -device with the following 22 device
types, that are the ones compiled into the qemu-system-x86_64 and
qemu-system-i386 binaries:

This patch adds user_creatable=true explicitly to those devices,
temporarily, just to keep 100% compatibility with existing
behavior of q35. Subsequent patches will remove
user_creatable=true from the devices that are really not meant to
user-creatable on any machine, and remove the FIXME comment from
the ones that are really supposed to be user-creatable. This is

e90f2a8c3e qdev: Replace cannot_instantiate_with_device_add_yet with !user_creatable
cannot_instantiate_with_device_add_yet was introduced by commit
efec3dd631 to replace no_user. It was
supposed to be a temporary measure.

When it was introduced, we had 54
cannot_instantiate_with_device_add_yet=true lines in the code.
Today (3 years later) this number has not shrunk: we now have
57 cannot_instantiate_with_device_add_yet=true lines. I think it
is safe to say it is not a temporary measure, and we won't see
the flag go away soon.

Instead of a long field name that misleads people to believe it
is temporary, replace it a shorter and less misleading field:
user_creatable.

229e16fd24 ppc/xics: preserve P and Q bits for KVM IRQs
Kernel commit 17d48610ae0f ("KVM: PPC: Book 3S: XICS: Implement ICS
P/Q states") added new bits to the state used by KVM IRQs. Currently,
QEMU does not preserve these bits, so migrating (or otherwise saving
and restoring) the guest state causes the P and Q bits to be cleared.

Clearing the P bit has no effect, because the kernel will set it based
on other data, but the loss of a set Q bit will cause a lost
interrupt.

This patch preserves the P and Q bits, correcting the problem.

5bc8d26de2 spapr: allocate the ICPState object from under sPAPRCPUCore
Today, all the ICPs are created before the CPUs, stored in an array
under the sPAPR machine and linked to the CPU when the core threads
are realized. This modeling brings some complexity when a lookup in
the array is required and it can be simplified by allocating the ICPs
when the CPUs are.

This is the purpose of this proposal which introduces a new 'icp_type'
field under the machine and creates the ICP objects of the right type
(KVM or not) before the PowerPCCPU object are.

This change allows more cleanups : the removal of the icps array under
the sPAPR machine and the removal of the xics_get_cpu_index_by_dt_id()
helper.

ad5d1add86 ppc/xics: introduce an 'intc' backlink under PowerPCCPU
Today, the ICPState array of the sPAPR machine is indexed with
'cpu_index' of the CPUState. This numbering of CPUs is internal to
QEMU and the guest only knows about what is exposed in the device
tree, that is the 'cpu_dt_id'. This is why sPAPR uses the helper
xics_get_cpu_index_by_dt_id() to do the mapping in a couple of places.

To provide a more generic XICS layer, we need to abstract the IRQ
'server' number and remove any assumption made on its nature. It
should not be used as a 'cpu_index' for lookups like xics_cpu_setup()
and xics_cpu_destroy() do.

To reach that goal, we choose to introduce a generic 'intc' backlink
under PowerPCCPU, and let the machine core init routine do the
ICPState lookup. The resulting object is passed on to xics_cpu_setup()
which does the store under PowerPCCPU. The IRQ 'server' number in XICS
is now generic. sPAPR uses 'cpu_dt_id' and PowerNV will use 'PIR'
number.

This also has the benefit of simplifying the sPAPR hcall routines
which do not need to do any ICPState lookups anymore.

While I was debugging the icount issues I realised a bunch of the
messages look quite similar. I've fixed this by including __func__ in
the debug print. At the same time I move the a modern if (GATE) style
printf which ensures the compiler can check for format string errors
even if the code gets optimised away in the non-DEBUG_GIC case.

7ea6e06717 ppc/xics: register reset handlers for the ICP and ICS objects
The recent changes on the XICS layer removed the XICSState object to
let the sPAPR machine handle the ICP and ICS directly. The reset of
these objects was previously handled by XICSState, which was a SysBus
device, and to keep the same behavior, the ICP and ICS were assigned
to SysbBus.

But that broke the 'info qtree' command in the monitor. 'qtree'
performs a loop on the children of a bus to print their properties and
SysBus devices are expected to be found under SysBus, which is not the
case anymore.

The fix for this problem is to register reset handlers for the ICP and
ICS objects and stop using SysBus for such devices.

a7ff1212e9 ppc/xics: move ics-simple post_load under the machine
The ICS object uses a post_load() handler which is implicitly relying
on the fact that the internal state of the ICS and ICP objects has
been restored but this is not guaranteed. So, let's move the code
under the post_load() handler of the machine where we know the objects
have been fully restored.

The icp_resend() handler of the XICSFabric QOM interface is also
removed as it is now obsolete.

729f8a4f48 ppc/xics: move kernel_xics_fd out of KVMXICSState
The kernel ICP file descriptor is the only reason behind the
KVMXICSState class and it's in the way of more cleanups. Let's make it
a static for the moment and move forward.

If this is problem, we could use an attribute under the sPAPR machine
later on.

b2fc59aaf9 ppc/xics: extend the QOM interface to handle ICPs
Let's add two new handlers for ICPs. One is to get an ICP object from
a server number and a second is to resend the irqs when needed.

The icp_resend() handler is a temporary workaround needed by the
ics-simple post_load() handler. It will be removed when the post_load
portion can be done at the machine level.

A list of ICS objects was introduced under the XICS object for the
PowerNV machine but, for the sPAPR machine, it brings extra complexity
as there is only a single ICS. To simplify the code, let's add the ICS
pointer under the sPAPR machine and try to reduce the use of this list
where possible.

Also, change the xics_spapr_*() routines to use an ICS object instead
of an XICSState and change their name to reflect that these are
specific to the sPAPR ICS object.

4e4169f7a2 ppc/xics: remove set_nr_irqs() handler from XICSStateClass
Today, the ICS (Interrupt Controller Source) object is created and
realized by the init and realize routines of the XICS object, but some
of the parameters are only known at the machine level.

These parameters are passed from the sPAPR machine to the ICS object
in a rather convoluted way using property handlers and a class handler
of the XICS object. The number of irqs required to allocate the IRQ
state objects in the ICS realize routine is one of them.

Let's simplify the process by creating the ICS object along with the
XICS object at the machine level and link the ICS into the XICS list
of ICSs at this level also. In the sPAPR machine, there is only a
single ICS but that will change with the PowerNV machine.

Also, QOMify the creation of the objects and get rid of the
superfluous code.

738d5db824 xics: XICS should not be a SysBusDevice
Currently xics - the component of the IBM POWER interrupt controller
representing the overall interrupt fabric / architecture is
represented as a descendent of SysBusDevice.  However, this is not
really correct - the xics presents nothing in MMIO space so it should
be an "unattached" device in the current QOM model.

Since this device will always be created by the machine type, not created
specifically from the command line, and because it has no migrated state
it should be safe to move it around the device composition tree.

Therefore this patch changes it to a descendent of TYPE_DEVICE, and
makes it an unattached device.  So that its reset handler still gets
called correctly, we add a qdev_set_parent_bus() to attach it to
sysbus.  It's not really clear that's correct (instead of using
register_reset()) but it appears to a common technique.

07a5628cb8 hw/intc/arm_gicv3_kvm: Reset GICv3 cpu interface registers
Reset CPU interface registers of GICv3 when CPU is reset.
For this, ARMCPRegInfo struct is registered with one ICC
register whose resetfn is called when cpu is reset.

All the ICC registers are reset under one single register
reset function instead of calling resetfn for each ICC
register.

14790f730a armv7m: VECTCLRACTIVE and VECTRESET are UNPREDICTABLE
The VECTCLRACTIVE and VECTRESET bits in the AIRCR are both
documented as UNPREDICTABLE if you write a 1 to them when
the processor is not halted in Debug state (ie stopped
and under the control of an external JTAG debugger).
Since we don't implement Debug state or emulated JTAG
these bits are always UNPREDICTABLE for us. Instead of
logging them as unimplemented we can simply log writes
as guest errors and ignore them.

7ecdaa4a96 armv7m: Fix condition check for taking exceptions
The M profile condition for when we can take a pending exception or
interrupt is not the same as that for A/R profile.  The code
originally copied from the A/R profile version of the
cpu_exec_interrupt function only worked by chance for the
very simple case of exceptions being masked by PRIMASK.
Replace it with a call to a function in the NVIC code that
correctly compares the priority of the pending exception
against the current execution priority of the CPU.

[Michael Davidsaver's patchset had a patch to do something
similar but the implementation ended up being a rewrite.]

da6d674e50 armv7m: Rewrite NVIC to not use any GIC code
Despite some superficial similarities of register layout, the
M-profile NVIC is really very different from the A-profile GIC.
Our current attempt to reuse the GIC code means that we have
significant bugs in our NVIC.

Implement the NVIC as an entirely separate device, to give
us somewhere we can get the behaviour correct.

This initial commit does not attempt to implement exception
priority escalation, since the GIC-based code didn't either.
It does fix a few bugs in passing:
 * ICSR.RETTOBASE polarity was wrong and didn't account for
   internal exceptions
 * ICSR.VECTPENDING was 16 too high if the pending exception
   was for an external interrupt
 * UsageFault, BusFault and MemFault were not disabled on reset
   as they are supposed to be

8d04fb55de tcg: drop global lock during TCG code execution
This finally allows TCG to benefit from the iothread introduction: Drop
the global mutex while running pure TCG CPU code. Reacquire the lock
when entering MMIO or PIO emulation, or when leaving the TCG loop.

We have to revert a few optimization for the current TCG threading
model, namely kicking the TCG thread in qemu_mutex_lock_iothread and not
kicking it in qemu_cpu_kick. We also need to disable RAM block
reordering until we have a more efficient locking mechanism at hand.

Still, a Linux x86 UP guest and my Musicpal ARM model boot fine here.
These numbers demonstrate where we gain something:

e61cc6b5c6 s390x: add property adapter_routes_max_batch
To make virtio-ccw supports more that  64 virtqueues we will have to
increase ADAPTER_ROUTES_MAX_GSI which is currently limiting the number if
possible adapter routes. Of course increasing the number of supported
routes can break backwards migration.

Let us introduce a compatibility property adapter_routes_max_batch so
client code can use the some old limit if in compatibility mode and
retain the migration compatibility.

ba690c7171 s390x/flic: fail migration on source already
Current code puts a 'FLIC_FAILED' marker into the migration stream
to indicate something went wrong while saving flic state and fails
load if it encounters that marker. VMState's put routine recently
gained the ability to return error codes (but did not wire it up
yet).

In order to be able to reap the benefits of returning an error and
failing migration on the source already once this gets wired up
in core, return an error in addition to storing 'FLIC_FAILED'.

2e2a1b4648 hw/mips_gic: Update pin state on mask changes
If the GIC interrupt mask is changed by a write to the smask (set mask)
or rmask (reset mask) registers, we need to re-evaluate the state of the
pins/IRQs fed to the CPU. Without doing so we risk leaving a pin high
despite the interrupt that led to that state being masked, or losing
interrupts if an already pending interrupt is unmasked.

59046ec29a migration: consolidate VMStateField.start
The member VMStateField.start is used for two things, partial data
migration for VBUFFER data (basically provide migration for a
sub-buffer) and for locating next in QTAILQ.

The implementation of the VBUFFER feature is broken when VMSTATE_ALLOC
is used. This however goes unnoticed because actually partial migration
for VBUFFER is not used at all.

Let's consolidate the usage of VMStateField.start by removing support
for partial migration for VBUFFER.

d713ea6c46 armv7m_nvic: keep a pointer to the CPU
Many NVIC operations access the CPU state, so store a pointer in
struct nvic_state rather than fetching it via qemu_get_cpu() every
time we need it.

As with the arm_gicv3_common code, we currently just call
qemu_get_cpu() in the NVIC's realize method, but in future we might
want to use a QOM property to pass the CPU to the NVIC.

This imposes an ordering requirement that the CPU is
realized before the NVIC, but that is always true since
both are dealt with in armv7m_init().

86830554db hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Implement EL2 traps for CPU i/f regs
Implement the architecturally required traps from NS EL1
to EL2 for the CPU interface registers. These fall into
several different groups:
 * group-0-only registers all trap if ICH_HRC_EL2.TALL0 is set
   (exactly the registers covered by gicv3_fiq_access())
 * group-1-only registers all trap if ICH_HRC_EL2.TALL1 is set
   (exactly the registers covered by gicv3_irq_access())
 * DIR traps if ICH_HCR_EL2.TC or ICH_HCR_EL2.TDIR are set
 * PMR, RPR, CTLR trap if ICH_HCR_EL2.TC is set
 * SGI0R, SGI1R, ASGI1R trap if ICH_HCR_EL2.TC is set or
   if HCR_EL2.IMO or HCR_EL2.FMO are set

We split DIR and the SGI registers out into their own access
functions, leaving the existing gicv3_irqfiq_access() just
handling PMR, RPR and CTLR.

This commit doesn't implement support for trapping on
HSTR_EL2.T12 for the 32-bit registers, as we don't implement
any of those per-coprocessor trap bits currently and
probably will want to do those in some more centralized way.

The GICv3 virtualization interface includes system registers
accessible only to the hypervisor which form the control
interface for interrupt virtualization. Implement these
registers.

The function gicv3_cpuif_virt_update() which determines
whether it needs to signal vIRQ, vFIQ or a maintenance
interrupt is introduced here as a stub function -- its
implementation will be added in a subsequent commit.

As the first step in adding support for the virtualization
extensions to the GICv3 emulation:
 * add the necessary data fields to the state structures
 * add the fields to the migration state, as a subsection
   which is only present if virtualization is enabled

The use of a subsection means we retain migration
compatibility as EL2 is not enabled on any CPUs currently.

Augment the GIC's QOM device interface by adding two
new sets of sysbus IRQ lines, to signal VIRQ and VFIQ to
each CPU.

We never use these, but it's helpful to keep the v2-and-earlier
GIC's external interface in line with that of the GICv3 to
avoid board code having to add extra code conditional on which
version of the GIC is in use.

0f254b1ae0 x86: ioapic: fix fail migration when irqchip=split
Split irqchip works based on the fact that we kept the first 24 gsi
routing entries inside KVM for userspace ioapic's use. When system
boot, we'll reserve these MSI routing entries before hand. However,
after migration, we forgot to re-configure it up in the destination
side. The result is, we'll get invalid gsi routing entries after
migration (all empty), and we get interrupts with vector=0, then
strange things happen, like keyboard hang.

The solution is simple - we update them after migration, which is a
one line fix.

0bfa02595a hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Don't signal Pending+Active interrupts to CPU
The GICv3 requires that we only signal Pending interrupts to
the CPU. This category does not include Pending+Active interrupts,
which means we need to check whether the interrupt is Active in
the gicr_int_pending() and gicd_int_pending() functions.

Interrupts are rarely in the Active+Pending state, but KVM
uses this as part of its handling of the virtual timer, so
this bug was causing KVM to go into an infinite loop of
taking the vtimer interrupt when the guest first triggered it.

e971fa0422 hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Remove incorrect usage of fieldoffset
In the ARMCPRegInfo definitions for the GICv3 CPU interface
registers, we were trying to use .fieldoffset to specify
the locations of data fields within the GICv3CPUState struct.
This is completely broken, because .fieldoffset is for offsets
into the CPUARMState struct. We didn't notice because we
were only using this for reads to BPR0, AP0R<n>, IGRPEN0
and CTLR_EL3, and Linux doesn't use these registers.

Replace the .fieldoffset uses with explicit read functions.

We've currently got 18 architectures in QEMU, and thus 18 target-xxx
folders in the root folder of the QEMU source tree. More architectures
(e.g. RISC-V, AVR) are likely to be included soon, too, so the main
folder of the QEMU sources slowly gets quite overcrowded with the
target-xxx folders.
To disburden the main folder a little bit, let's move the target-xxx
folders into a dedicated target/ folder, so that target-xxx/ simply
becomes target/xxx/ instead.

also for disabled interrupts. Correct the logic for

9b9a19080a pseries: Move construction of /interrupt-controller fdt node
Currently the device tree node for the XICS interrupt controller is in
spapr_create_fdt_skel().  As part of consolidating device tree construction
to reset time, this moves it to a function called from spapr_build_fdt().

In addition we move the actual code into hw/intc/xics_spapr.c with the
rest of the PAPR specific interrupt controller code.

Every configuration has only up to one APIC class and we'll be extending
the class with a function that can be called without an instanced
object, so a direct access to the class is convenient.

This patch will break compilation if some code uses apic_get_class()

ics_simple_*

This will allow different implementations for the source controllers

cc706a5305 ppc/xics: Make the ICSState a list
Instead of an array of fixed sized blocks, use a list, as we will need
to have sources with variable number of interrupts. SPAPR only uses
a single entry. Native will create more. If performance becomes an
issue we can add some hashed lookup but for now this will do fine.

0c9f302ea2 hw/intc/arm_gicv3_its: Implement support for in-kernel ITS emulation
The ITS control frame is in-kernel emulated while accesses to the
GITS_TRANSLATER are mediated through the KVM_SIGNAL_MSI ioctl (MSI
direct MSI injection advertised by the CAP_SIGNAL_MSI capability)

the kvm_gsi_direct_mapping is explicitly set to false to emphasize the
difference with GICv2M. Direct mapping cannot work with ITS since
the content of the MSI data is not the target interrupt ID but an
eventd id.

GSI routing is advertised (kvm_gsi_routing_allowed) as well as
msi/irqfd signaling (kvm_msi_via_irqfd_allowed).

The MSI frame (GITS_TRANSLATER) absolute GPA is computed on first
kvm_its_send_msi() call. It is then passed through KVM_SIGNAL_MSI
ioctl.

386ce3c7fc hw/intc/arm_gicv3_its: Implement ITS base class
This is the basic skeleton for both KVM and software-emulated ITS.
Since we already prepare status structure, we also introduce complete
VMState description. But, because we currently have no migratable
implementations, we also set unmigratable flag.

d19a4d4ef4 hw/intc/arm_gic(v3)_kvm: Initialize gsi routing
Advertise gsi routing and set up irqchip routing entries for
GIC SPIs.

This is not mandated as long as MSI routing is not used
(because the kernel sets a default irqchip routing table).
However once MSI routing gets used (for VIRTIO-PCI vhost for
example), the first call to KVM_SET_GSI_ROUTING overrides the
kernel default irqchip table.

If no routing entry exists for the GSI, any IRQFD signaling for
this GSI will fail.
