Use a shorter name. We are going to move in iotests from qmp() to
command() where possible. But command() is longer than qmp() and don't
look better. Let's rename.
You can simply grep for '\.command(' and for 'def command(' to check
that everything is updated (command() in tests/docker/docker.py is
unrelated).

By using a socketpair for all of the sockets managed by the VM class and
its extensions, we don't need the sock_dir argument anymore, so remove
it.
We only added this argument so that we could specify a second, shorter
temporary directory for cases where the temp/log dirs were "too long" as
a socket name on macOS. We don't need it for this class now. In one
case, avocado testing takes over responsibility for creating an
appropriate sockdir.

Occasionally some avocado tests will fail waiting for console line
despite the machine running correctly. Console data goes missing, as can
be seen in the console log. This is due to _console_interaction calling
makefile() on the console socket each time it is invoked, which must be
losing old buffer contents when going out of scope.
It is not enough to makefile() with buffered=0. That helps significantly
but data loss is still possible. My guess is that readline() has a line
buffer even when the file is in unbuffered mode, that can eat data.
Fix this by providing a console file that persists for the life of the
console.

Factor out the code that finds the qemu-img binary in the
QemuSystemTest class and create a new get_qemu_img() function
with it. This function will get called also from the new code
in tuxrun_baselines.py avocado test-case.

A recent attempt to let avocado run more tests on the CentOS stream
build failed because there was no gating on the multiprocess feature.
Like missing accelerators avocado should gracefully skip when the
feature is not enabled.
In this case we use the existence of the proxy device as a proxy for
multi-process support.

If a test was tagged with the "accel" tag and the specified
accelerator it not present in the qemu binary, cancel the test.
We can now write tests without explicit calls to require_accelerator,
just the tag is enough.

On macOS, private $TMPDIR's are the default. These $TMPDIR's are
generated from a user's unix UID and UUID [1], which can create a
relatively long path:

QEMU's avocado tests create a temporary directory prefixed by
"avo_qemu_sock_", and create QMP sockets within _that_ as well.
The QMP socket is unnecessarily long, because a temporary directory
is created for every QEMUMachine object.

This results in avocado tests failing on macOS because the QMP unix
socket can't be created, because the path is too long:
ERROR| Failed to establish connection: OSError: AF_UNIX path too long
This change resolves by reducing the size of the socket directory prefix
and the suffix on the QMP and console socket names.

We should be aiming to keep our tests under 2 minutes so lets reduce
the default timeout to that. Tests that we know take longer should
explicitly set a longer timeout.

Some avocado tests blindly assume that QEMU has been compiled with libslirp
enabled and fail badly if it is missing. Add a proper check to cancel the
tests in this case.

All of the QEMU tests eventually end up derrived from this class. Move
the default timeout from LinuxTest to ensure we catch them all. We
keep the 15 minute timeout as currently some of the more heavyweight
CFI and TCG tests can overrun. We should aim to drop it down to 2
minutes which is a more reasonable target for tests to aim for but we
want to get this release out.

I like to build QEMU from the root source directory [*], rather
than cd'ing into the build directory. This code may as well include
a search path for that, so that you can run avocado tests individually
without specifying "-p qemu_bin=build/qemu-system-arm" manually.

This patch adds the "qemu" namespace package to the $build/tests/venv
directory. It does so in "editable" mode, which means that changes to
the source python directory will actively be reflected by the venv.
This patch also then removes any sys.path hacking from the avocado test
scripts directly. By doing this, the environment of where to find these
packages is managed entirely by the virtual environment and not by the
scripts themselves.

Race conditions can happen with the current code, because the port that
was available might not be anymore by the time the server is started.
By setting the port to 0, PhoneServer it will use the OS default
behavior to get a free port, then we save this information so we can
later configure the guest.

The BootLinux tests are currently failing with an ugly python
stack trace on my RHEL8 system since they cannot get a free port
(likely due to the firewall settings on my system). Let's properly
check the return value of find_free_port() instead and cancel the
test gracefully if it cannot get a free port.

To run user-mode emulation tests, we introduced the
avocado_qemu.QemuUserTest which inherits from avocado_qemu.QemuBaseTest.
System-mode emulation tests are based on the avocado_qemu.Test class,
which also inherits avocado_qemu.QemuBaseTest. To avoid confusion,
rename it as avocado_qemu.QemuSystemTest.

The Avocado Test::fetch_asset() is handy to download artifacts
before running tests. The current class is named Test but only
tests system emulation. As we want to test user emulation,
refactor the common code as QemuBaseTest.

In the discussion about renaming the `tests/acceptance` [1], the
conclusion was that the folders inside `tests` are related to the
framework running the tests and not directly related to the type of
the tests.
This changes the folder to `tests/avocado` and adjusts the MAKEFILE, the
CI related files and the documentation.
