63a13c0805 audio: reintroduce default audio backend for VNC
Make VNC use the default backend again if one is defined.
The recently introduced support for disabling the VNC audio
extension is still used, in case no default backend exists.

22f84d4f78 audio: do not use first -audiodev as default audio device
It is now possible to specify the options for the default audio device
using -audio, so there is no need anymore to use a fake -audiodev option.

Remove the fall back to QTAILQ_FIRST(&audio_states), instead remember the
AudioState that was created from default_audiodevs and use that one.

c753bf479a audio: disable default backends if -audio/-audiodev is used
Match what is done for other options, for example -monitor, and also
the behavior of QEMU 8.1 (see the "legacy_config" variable). Require
the user to specify a backend if one is specified on the command line.

69a802792a audio: remove QEMU_AUDIO_* and -audio-help support
These have been deprecated for a long time, and the introduction of
-audio in 7.1.0 has cemented the new way of specifying an audio backend's
parameters. However, there is still a need for simple configuration
of the audio backend in the desktop case; therefore, if no audiodev is
passed to audio_init(), go through a bunch of simple Audiodev* structures
and pick the first that can be initialized successfully.

The only QEMU_AUDIO_* option that is left in, waiting for a better idea,
is QEMU_AUDIO_DRV=none which is used by qtest.

Remove all the parsing code, including the concept of "can_be_default"
audio drivers: now that audio_prio_list[] is only used in a single place,
wav can be excluded directly in that function.

b91b0fc163 accel: Remove HAX accelerator
HAX is deprecated since commits 73741fda6c ("MAINTAINERS: Abort
HAXM maintenance") and 90c167a1da ("docs/about/deprecated: Mark
HAXM in QEMU as deprecated"), released in v8.0.0.

Per the latest HAXM release (v7.8 [*]), the latest QEMU supported
is v7.2:

Note: Up to this release, HAXM supports QEMU from 2.9.0 to 7.2.0.

The next commit (https://github.com/intel/haxm/commit/da1b8ec072)
added:

HAXM v7.8.0 is our last release and we will not accept
pull requests or respond to issues after this.

It became very hard to build and test HAXM. Its previous
maintainers made it clear they won't help. It doesn't seem to be
a very good use of QEMU maintainers to spend their time in a dead
project. Save our time by removing this orphan zombie code.

039a68373c introduce -audio as a replacement for -soundhw
-audio is used like "-audio pa,model=sb16". It is almost as simple as
-soundhw, but it reuses the -audiodev parsing machinery and attaches an
audiodev to the newly-created device. The main 'feature' is that
it knows about adding the codec device for model=intel-hda, and adding
the audiodev to the codec device.

In the future, it could be extended to support default models or
builtin devices, just like -nic, or even a default backend. For now,
keep it simple.

e960a7ee46 remove -writeconfig
Like -set and -readconfig, it would not really be too hard to
extend -writeconfig to parsing mechanisms other than QemuOpts.
However, the uses of -writeconfig are substantially more
limited, as it is generally easier to write the configuration
by hand in the first place. In addition, -writeconfig does
not even try to detect cases where it prints incorrect
syntax (for example if values have a quote in them, since
qemu_config_parse does not support any kind of escaping.
Just remove it.

7f697d7b68 docs/about: Add the missing release record in the subject
Commit 29e0447551
(docs/about/removed-features: Document removed CLI options from QEMU v3.1)
has recorded some CLI options as replaced/removed from QEMU v3.1, but one
of the subjects has missed the release record. Let's fix it.

e2cc363bbb docs/about: Unify the subject format
There is a mixture of "since/removed in X.Y" vs "since/removed in X.Y.Z"
in the subjects in deprecated.rst/removed-features.rst. It will be better
to use an unified format. It seems unlikely that we will ever deprecate
something in a stable release, and even more unlikely that we'll remove
something in one, so the short versions look like the thing we want to
standardize on.

So here we unify the subject format in deprecated.rst to "since X.Y", and
unify the subject format in removed-features.rst to "removed in X.Y".

f347839258 docs: Move deprecation, build and license info out of system/
Now that we have a single Sphinx manual rather than multiple manuals,
we can provide a better place for "common to all of QEMU" information
like the deprecation notices, build platforms, license information,
which we currently have in the system/ manual even though it applies
to all of QEMU.

Create a new directory about/ on the same level as system/, user/,
etc, and move these documents there.
