While a healthy society cannot derive itself from the authority of a
single person (even emeritus), and Richard Stallman's opinions are often
controversial and sometimes atrocious, there is no reason to intermix
them with FSF operation and policy. The archaic, tribalistic,
totalitarian 'cancel culture' is unfit for civil productive societies
such as free software communities, and should not become the norm.
