Add support for Non-Transparent Bridge connected to a PCI-E Root Port on
the remote system (also known as NTB-RP mode). This allows for a NTB
enabled system to be connected to a non-NTB enabled system/slot.
Modifications to the registers and BARs/MWs on the Secondary side by the
remote system are reflected into registers on the Primary side for the
local system. Similarly, modifications of registers and BARs/MWs on
Primary side by the local system are reflected into registers on the
Secondary side for the Remote System. This allows communication between
the 2 sides via these registers and BARs/MWs.
Note: there is not a fix for the Xeon Errata (that was already worked
around in NTB-B2B mode) for NTB-RP mode. Due to this limitation, NTB-RP
will not work on the Secondary side with the Xeon Errata workaround
enabled. To get around this, disable the workaround via the
xeon_errata_workaround=0 modparm. However, this can cause the hang
described in the errata.

Many variable names in the NTB driver refer to the primary or secondary
side. However, these variables will be used to access the reverse case
when in NTB-RP mode. Make these names more generic in anticipation of
NTB-RP support.

Allocate and use a DMA engine channel to transmit and receive data over
NTB. If none is allocated, fall back to using the CPU to transfer data.

sock_tx_timestamp() will clear all zerocopy flags of skb which may lead the
frags never to be orphaned. This will break guest to guest traffic when zerocopy
is enabled. Fix this by orphaning the frags before trying to set tx time stamp.
The issue were introduced by commit eda2977291
(tun: Support software transmit time stamping).

Since commit 82dc3c63 ("net: introduce NAPI_POLL_WEIGHT")
netif_napi_add() produces an error message if a NAPI poll weight
greater than 64 is requested.
qlcnic requests the weight as large as 256 for some of its rings, and
smaller values for other rings. For instance in qlcnic_82xx_napi_add()
I think the intention was to give the tx+rx ring a bigger weight than
to rx-only rings, but it's actually doing the opposite. So I'm assuming
the weights do not really matter much.
Just use the standard NAPI weights for all rings.

RFC 4861 says that the IP source address of the Redirect is the
same as the current first-hop router for the specified ICMP
Destination Address, so the gateway should be taken into
consideration when we find the route for redirect.
There was once a check in commit
a6279458c5 ("NDISC: Search over
all possible rules on receipt of redirect.") and the check
went away in commit b94f1c0904
("ipv6: Use icmpv6_notify() to propagate redirect, instead of
rt6_redirect()").
The bug is only "exploitable" on layer-2 because the source
address of the redirect is checked to be a valid link-local
address but it makes spoofing a lot easier in the same L2
domain nonetheless.

This patch adds two more ndo ops: ndo_add_rx_vxlan_port() and
ndo_del_rx_vxlan_port().
Drivers can get notifications through the above functions about changes
of the UDP listening port of VXLAN. Also, when physical ports come up,
now they can call vxlan_get_rx_port() in order to obtain the port number(s)
of the existing VXLAN interface in case they already up before them.
This information about the listening UDP port would be used for VXLAN
related offloads.

This module generates a common default address on init,
using eth_random_addr. Set addr_assign_type to let
userspace know the address is random unless it was
overridden by the minidriver.

In servers with more than 1.1 TB of RAM, the existing 40/32 bit DMA
could cause failure as the DMA-able address could go outside the range
addressable using 40/32 bits.
The following patch first tried 64 bit DMA if possible, failover to 32
bit.

Currently if there is no listener for a certain group then IPv6 packets
for that group are flooded on all ports, even though there might be no
host and router interested in it on a port.
With this commit they are only forwarded to ports with a multicast
router.
Just like commit bd4265fe36 ("bridge: Only flood unregistered groups
to routers") did for IPv4, let's do the same for IPv6 with the same
reasoning.

match the kernel code in head.S: __vet_fdt and __create_page_tables.
This patch tweaks the text to match the actual requirements placed on
it by the code.

The last line of PARISC machines (C8000, RP34x0, etc.) have a BMC for
controlling temperature, fan speed and other stuff. The BMC is
connected via a special bus and listed in the firmware device tree.
This change adds support for these BMCs to the IPMI driver.

I'd submitted this about a year ago but it never made it upstream.
The latest versions of the kernel drivers for ipmi can use ACPI to
determine the type of BMC device used in the system. The following
patch adds a module alias so that udev will autoload the ipmi_si driver.

This is a minimal client side implementation of SP4_MACH_CRED. It will
attempt to negotiate SP4_MACH_CRED iff the EXCHANGE_ID is using
krb5i or krb5p auth. SP4_MACH_CRED will be used if the server supports the
minimal operations:
BIND_CONN_TO_SESSION
EXCHANGE_ID
CREATE_SESSION
DESTROY_SESSION
DESTROY_CLIENTID
This patch only includes the EXCHANGE_ID negotiation code because
the client will already use the machine cred for these operations.
If the server doesn't support SP4_MACH_CRED or doesn't support the minimal
operations, the exchange id will be resent with SP4_NONE.

The function debug_lockdep_rcu_enabled() is part of the RCU lockdep
debugging, and is called very frequently. I found that if I enable
a lot of debugging and run the function graph tracer, this
function can cause a live lock of the system.
We don't usually trace lockdep infrastructure, no need to trace
this either.

Early microcode loading runs C code before paging is enabled on 32
bits. Since ftrace puts a hook into every function, that hook needs
to be safe to execute in the pre-paging environment. This is
currently true for dynamic ftrace but not for static ftrace.
Static ftrace is obsolescent and assumed to not be
performance-critical, so we can simply test that the stack pointer
falls within the valid range of kernel addresses.

GFS2 was only setting I_DIRTY_DATASYNC on files that it wrote to, when
it actually increased the file size. If gfs2_fsync was called without
I_DIRTY_DATASYNC set, it didn't flush the incore data to the log before
returning, so any metadata or journaled data changes were not getting
fsynced. This meant that writes to the middle of files were not always
getting fsynced properly.
This patch makes gfs2 set I_DIRTY_DATASYNC whenever metadata has been
updated during a write. It also make gfs2_sync flush the incore log
if I_DIRTY_PAGES is set, and the file is using data journalling. This
will make sure that all incore logged data gets written to disk before
returning from a fsync.

This patch checks for the first mounter being a specator. If so, it
makes sure all the journals are clean. If there's a dirty journal,
the mount fails.
Testing results:
