ELF: Add support for unique section ID to assembler
Clang's integrated assembler supports multiple section with the same name: .section .text,"ax",@progbits,unique,1 nop .section .text,"ax",@progbits,unique,2 nop "unique,N" assigns the number, N, as the section ID, to a section. The valid values of the section ID are between 0 and 4294967295. It can be used to distinguish different sections with the same section name. This is useful with -fno-unique-section-names -ffunction-sections. -ffunction-sections by default generates .text.foo, .text.bar, etc. Using the same string can save lots of space in .strtab. This patch adds section_id to bfd_section and reuses the linker internal bit in BFD section flags, SEC_LINKER_CREATED, for assmebler internal use to mark valid section_id. It also updates objdump to compare section pointers if 2 sections comes from the same file since 2 different sections can have the same section name. bfd/ PR gas/25380 * bfd-in2.h: Regenerated. * ecoff.c (bfd_debug_section): Add section_id. * section.c (bfd_section): Add section_id. bfd_section_* macros
This large patch removes the unnecessary bfd parameter from various bfd section macros and functions. The bfd is hardly ever used and if needed for the bfd_set_section_* or bfd_rename_section functions can be found via section->owner except for the com, und, abs, and ind std_section special sections. Those sections shouldn't be modified anyway. The patch also removes various bfd_get_section_<field> macros, replacing their use with bfd_section_<field>, and adds bfd_set_section_lma. I've also fixed a minor bug in gas where compressed section renaming was done directly rather than calling bfd_rename_section. This would have broken bfd_get_section_by_name and similar functions, but that hardly mattered at such a late stage in gas processing. bfd/ * bfd-in.h (bfd_get_section_name, bfd_get_section_vma), (bfd_get_section_lma, bfd_get_section_alignment), (bfd_get_section_size, bfd_get_section_flags), (bfd_get_section_userdata): Delete. [MicroBlaze] PIC data text relative

Support ELF SHF_GNU_MBIND and PT_GNU_MBIND_XXX
Mark an ALLOC section, which should be placed in special memory area,
with SHF_GNU_MBIND. Its sh_info field indicates the special memory
type. GNU_MBIND section names start with ".mbind" so that they are
placed as orphan sections by linker. All input GNU_MBIND sections
with the same sh_type, sh_flags and sh_info are placed in one output
GNU_MBIND section. In executable and shared object, create a
GNU_MBIND segment for each GNU_MBIND section and its segment type is
PT_GNU_MBIND_LO plus the sh_info value. Each GNU_MBIND segment is
aligned at page boundary.
The assembler syntax:

make md_parse_option () take a const char *
This is mostly just adding const in many places, however there are a couple interesting things. We need to add casts in tc-s390.c and tc-cris.c because they have functions that assign to input_line_pointer an argument that sometimes comes from md_parse_option. Presumably this is safe because those targets never pass literals to md_parse_option (), but this code should probably be improved in the future. make microblaze build with -Wwrite-strings
frag_var () assigns its last argument to frag::fr_opcode, and it turns out some targets modify the string that points to. However it appears niether the generic code or the microblaze code modifies what fr_opcode points to, so this code should be safe. gas TC_PARSE_CONS_EXPRESSION communication with TC_CONS_FIX_NEW
A number of targets pass extra information from TC_PARSE_CONS_EXPRESSION to TC_CONS_FIX_NEW via static variables. That's OK, but not best practice. tc-ppc.c goes further in implementing its own replacement for cons(), because the generic one doesn't allow relocation modifiers on constants.
