3cba8b6c93 Use dlsym to check if libdl is needed for plugin 
config/plugins.m4 has

 if test "$plugins" = "yes"; then
    AC_SEARCH_LIBS([dlopen], [dl])
  fi

Plugin uses dlsym, but libasan.so only intercepts dlopen, not dlsym:

Testing dlopen for libdl leads to false negative when -fsanitize=address
is used.  It results in link failure:

../bfd/.libs/libbfd.a(plugin.o): undefined reference to symbol 'dlsym@@GLIBC_2.16'

dlsym should be used to check if libdl is needed for plugin.

c616591359 Partially revert previous delta - move limit testing code to first scan over symbol file.

0092723307 Fix more potential seg-faults in gprof.

	* corefile.c (num_of_syms_in): Return an unsigned int.
	(core_create_syms_from): Catch a possible integer overflow
	computing the argument to xmalloc.  Also allow for the possibility
	that an integer overflow in num_of_syms_in means that less space
	has been allocated than expected.

	(read_function_mappings): Use BUFSIZE and STR)BUFSIZE.
	(num_of_syms_in): Move buf, address and name arrays out of
	function and declare as static BUFSIZE arrays.
	Use STR_BUFSIZE when scanning for name and address.
	(core_create_syms_from): Revert previous delta.  Instead
	short circuit the parsing of a symbol if all three fields
	could not be found.

6757cf5769 enable -Wwrite-strings for gas 
We add a new AC_SUBST to warning.m4 so that the test if the warning is
supported is centralized, but the warning can be enabled per directory.

afa5870f1b Add 'U' suffix to silence GCC 6 warning 
GCC 6 warns:

error: result of ‘63 << 26’ requires 33 bits to represent, but ‘int’ only has 32 bits [-Werror=shift-overflow=]

on 0x3f << 26.  This patch adds 'U' suffix to make integer constant
unsigned.
