To make events rotation possible, they should be allocated when event
is being ->added(), not during initialisation. This patch moves the
respective code.

Groups must not mix events from different PMUs (software events are
allowed). Unfortunately the core does not ensures that, so it is
necessary to validate the group at the PMU driver level.

Since 688d4dfcdd "perf tools: Support
parsing parameterized events" the perf userspace tools understands
"argument=?" syntax in the events file, making sure that required
arguments are provided by the user and not defaulting to 0, causing
confusion.
This patch adds the required arguments lists for CCN events.

This patch adds a "cpumask" attribute to CCN's event_source class sysfs
directory. Perf user tool uses it to restrict events to the
processor(s) enumerated in this mask.
This patch provides a single CPU mask, making it possible to run "-a"
perf session (previously it would request the same CCN event, for
example cycle counter, on each available core and most likely fail).
Initially the mask is set to the CPU that happened to probe the driver,
but it will be changed when it is hot-un-plugged (active events are
migrated to another CPU then).
Example:
Performance counter stats for 'system wide':
CPU0 2968148 cycles
CPU1 2236736 cycles
CPU2 1797968 cycles
CPU3 1831715 cycles
CPU1 1201850868 ccn/cycles/
1.001241383 seconds time elapsed
Signed-off-by: Pawel Moll <pawel.moll@arm.com>
Events defined as watchpoints on nodes must have their config values
converted so that they apply to the respective node's XP. The
function setting new values was using wrong mask for the "port" field,
resulting in corrupted value. Fixed now.

Driver updates for v4.1. Some of these are for drivers/soc, where we find more
and more SoC-specific drivers these days. Some are for other driver subsystems
where we have received acks from the appropriate maintainers.
The larger parts of this branch are:
- MediaTek support for their PMIC wrapper interface, a high-level interface
for talking to the system PMIC over a dedicated I2C interface.
- Qualcomm SCM driver has been moved to drivers/firmware. It's used for CPU
up/down and needs to be in a shared location for arm/arm64 common code.
- Cleanup of ARM-CCI PMU code.
- Anoter set of cleanusp to the OMAP GPMC code.

Add MIPS Common Device Memory Map (CDMM) support in the form of a bus in
the standard Linux device model. Each device attached via CDMM is
discoverable via an 8-bit type identifier and may contain a number of
blocks of memory mapped registers in the CDMM region. IRQs are expected
to be handled separately.
Due to the per-cpu (per-VPE for MT cores) nature of the CDMM devices,
all the driver callbacks take place from workqueues which are run on the
right CPU for the device in question, so that the driver doesn't need to
be as concerned about which CPU it is running on. Callbacks also exist
for when CPUs are taken offline, so that any per-CPU resources used by
the driver can be disabled so they don't get forcefully migrated. CDMM
devices are created as children of the CPU device they are attached to.
Any existing CDMM configuration by the bootloader will be inherited,
however platforms wishing to enable CDMM should implement the weak
mips_cdmm_phys_base() function (see asm/cdmm.h) so that the bus driver
knows where it should put the CDMM region in the physical address space
if the bootloader hasn't already enabled it.
A mips_cdmm_early_probe() function is also provided to allow early boot
or particularly low level code to set up the CDMM region and probe for a
specific device type, for example early console or KGDB IO drivers for
the EJTAG Fast Debug Channel (FDC) CDMM device.

We mask the event with the CCI_PMU_EVENT_MASK, before passing
the config to pmu_validate_hw_event(), which causes extra bits
to be ignored and qualifies an invalid event code as valid.
e.g,
$ perf stat -a -C 0 -e CCI_400/config=0x1ff,name=cycles/ sleep 1
Performance counter stats for 'system wide':
506951142 cycles
1.013879626 seconds time elapsed
where, cycles has an event coding of 0xff. This patch also removes
the unnecessary 'event' mask in pmu_write_register, since the config_base
is set by the pmu code after the event is validated.

Avoid secure transactions while probing the CCI PMU. The
existing code makes use of the Peripheral ID2 (PID2) register
to determine the revision of the CCI400, which requires a
secure transaction. This puts a limitation on the usage of the
driver on systems running non-secure Linux(e.g, ARM64).
Updated the device-tree binding for cci pmu node to add the explicit
revision number for the compatible field.
The supported strings are :
arm,cci-400-pmu,r0
arm,cci-400-pmu,r1
arm,cci-400-pmu - DEPRECATED. See NOTE below
NOTE: If the revision is not mentioned, we need to probe the cci revision,
which could be fatal on a platform running non-secure. We need a reliable way
to know if we can poke the CCI registers at runtime on ARM32. We depend on
'mcpm_is_available()' when it is available. mcpm_is_available() returns true
only when there is a registered driver for mcpm. Otherwise, we assume that we
don't have secure access, and skips probing the revision number(ARM64 case).
The MCPM should figure out if it is safe to access the CCI. Unfortunately
there isn't a reliable way to indicate the same via dtb. This patch doesn't
address/change the current situation. It only deals with the CCI-PMU, leaving
the assumptions about the secure access as it has been, prior to this patch.

CCI400 has different event specifications for PMU, for revsion
0 and revision 1. As of now, we check the revision every single
time before using the parameters for the PMU. This patch abstracts
the details of the pmu models in a struct (cci_pmu_model) and
stores the information in cci_pmu at initialisation time, avoiding
multiple probe operations.

The perf core implicitly rejects events spanning multiple HW PMUs, as in
these cases the event->ctx will differ. However this validation is
performed after pmu::event_init() is called in perf_init_event(), and
thus pmu::event_init() may be called with a group leader from a
different HW PMU.
The CCI PMU driver does not take this fact into account, and assumes
that the any other hardware event belongs to the CCI. There are two
issues with it :
1) It is wrong and we should reject such groups.
2) Validation allocates an temporary idx for this non-cci event, which leads
to wrong calculation of the counter availability, and eventually lesser
number of events in the group.
This patch updates the CCI PMU driver to first test for and reject
events from other PMUs, which is the right thing to do.

The IRQF_DISABLED flag is a NOOP and has been scheduled for removal
since Linux v2.6.36 by commit 6932bf37be ("genirq: Remove
IRQF_DISABLED from core code").
According to commit e58aa3d2d0 ("genirq: Run irq handlers with
interrupts disabled"), running IRQ handlers with interrupts
enabled can cause stack overflows when the interrupt line of the
issuing device is still active.
This patch ends the grace period for IRQF_DISABLED (i.e.,
SA_INTERRUPT in older versions of Linux) and removes the
definition and all remaining usages of this flag.
There's still a few non-functional references left in the kernel
source:
- The bigger hunk in Documentation/scsi/ncr53c8xx.txt is removed entirely
as IRQF_DISABLED is gone now; the usage in older kernel versions
(including the old SA_INTERRUPT flag) should be discouraged. The
trouble of using IRQF_SHARED is a general problem and not specific to
any driver.
- I left the reference in Documentation/PCI/MSI-HOWTO.txt untouched since
it has already been removed in linux-next.
- All remaining references are changelogs that I suggest to keep.

Add a driver for transparent busses that don't need a real driver, but
where the bus controller is part of a PM domain, or under the control of
a functional clock. Typically, the bus controller's PM domain and/or
clock must be enabled for child devices connected to the bus (either
on-SoC or externally) to function.
Hence the sole purpose of this driver is to enable its clock and PM
domain (if exist(s)), which are specified in the DT and managed from
platform and PM domain code, and to probe for child devices.
Due to the child-parent relationship with devices connected to the bus,
PM domain and clock state transitions are handled in the correct order.

- Removal of CSR's "Marco" SoC platform that never made it out to the

New platforms this release are:

- Hisilicon HiP01 SoC
- CSR/sirf Atlas7 SoC
- ST STiH418 SoC
- Common code changes for Nvidia Tegra132 (64-bit SoC)
We're seeing more and more platforms having a harder time labelling

we've come quite far on the cleanup effort. So over time we might start
combining the cleanup and new-development branches more.

The mvebu-mbus driver reads the SDRAM window registers, and make the
information about the DRAM CS configuration available to device
drivers using the mv_mbus_dram_info() API. This information is used by
the DMA-capable device drivers to program their address decoding
windows.
Until now, we were basically providing the SDRAM window register
details as is. However, it turns out that the DMA capability of the
CESA cryptographic engine consists in doing DMA being the DRAM and the
crypto SRAM mapped as a MBus window. For this case, it is very
important that the SDRAM CS information does not overlap with the MBus
bridge window.
Therefore, this commit improves the mvebu-mbus driver to make sure we
adjust the SDRAM CS information so that it doesn't overlap with the
MBus bridge window. This problem was reported by Boris Brezillon,
while working on the mv_cesa driver for Armada 37x/38x/XP. We use the
memblock memory information to know where the usable RAM is located,
as this information is guaranteed to be correct on all SoC variants.
We could have used the MBus bridge window registers on Armada 370/XP,
but they are not really used on Armada 375/38x (Cortex-A9 based),
since the PL310 L2 filtering is used instead to discriminate between
RAM accesses and I/O accesses. Therefore, using the memblock
information is more generic and works accross the different platforms.

On Armada XP, 375 and 38x the MBus window 13 has the remap capability,
like windows 0 to 7. However, the mvebu-mbus driver isn't currently
taking into account this special case, which means that when window 13
is actually used, the remap registers are left to 0, making the device
using this MBus window unavailable.
To make things even more fun, the hardware designers have chosen to
put the window 13 remap registers in a completely custom location,
using a logic that differs from the one used for all other remappable
windows.
To solve this problem, this commit:
* Adds a SoC specific function to calculate offset of remap registers
to the mvebu_mbus_soc_data structure. This function,
->win_remap_offset(), returns the offset of the remap registers, or
MVEBU_MBUS_NO_REMAP if the window does not have the remap
capability. This new function replaces the previous integer field
num_remappable_wins, which was insufficient to encode the special
case of window 13.
* Adds an implementation of the ->win_remap_offset() function for the
various SoC families. Some have 2 first windows that are remapable,
some the 4 first, some the 8 first, and then the Armada XP/375/38x
case where the 8 first are remapable plus the special window
13. This is implemented in functions
generic_mbus_win_remap_2_offset(),
generic_mbus_win_remap_4_offset(),
generic_mbus_win_remap_8_offset() and
armada_xp_mbus_win_remap_offset() respectively.
* Change the code to use the ->win_remap_offset() function when
accessing the remap registers, and also to use a newly introduced
mvebu_mbus_window_is_remappable() helper function that tells
whether a given window is remapable or not.
* Separate Armada 370 from XP/375/38X because the window 13 of Armada
370 does not support the remap capability.

Instead of using explicit I/O synchronization barriers shoehorned
inside the streaming DMA mappings API (in
arch/arm/mach-mvebu/coherency.c), we are switching to use automatic
I/O synchronization barrier.
The primary motivation for this change is that explicit I/O
synchronization barriers are not only needed for streaming DMA
mappings (which can easily be done by overriding the dma_map_ops), but
also for coherent DMA mappings (which is a lot less easy to do, since
the kernel assumes such mappings are coherent and don't require any
sort of cache maintenance operation to ensure the consistency of the
buffers).
Switching to automatic I/O synchronization barriers will also allow us
to use the existing arm_coherent_dma_ops instead of our custom
arm_dma_ops.
In order to use automatic I/O synchronization barriers, this commit
changes mvebu-mbus in two ways:
- It enables automatic I/O synchronization barriers in the 0x84
register of the MBus bridge, by enabling such barriers for all MBus
units. This enables automatic barriers for the on-SoC peripherals
that are doing DMA.
- It enables the SyncEnable bit in the MBus windows, so that PCIe
devices also use automatic I/O synchronization barrier.
This automatic synchronization barrier relies on the assumption that
at least one register of a given hardware unit is read before the
driver accesses the DMA mappings modified by this unit. This
assumption is guaranteed for PCI devices by vertue of the PCI
standard, and we can reasonably verify that this assumption is also
true for the limited number of platform drivers doing DMA used on
Marvell EBU platforms.

On Marvell EBU platforms, when doing suspend/resume, the SDRAM window
configuration must be saved on suspend, and restored on
resume. However, it needs to be restored on resume *before*
re-entering the kernel, because the SDRAM window configuration defines
the layout of the memory. For this reason, it cannot simply be done in
the ->suspend() and ->resume() hooks of the mvebu-mbus driver.
Instead, it needs to be restored by the bootloader "boot info"
mechanism used when resuming. This mechanism allows the kernel to
define a list of (address, value) pairs when suspending, that the
bootloader will restore on resume before jumping back into the kernel.
This commit therefore adds a new function to the mvebu-mbus driver,
called mvebu_mbus_save_cpu_target(), which will be called by the
platform code to make the mvebu-mbus driver save the SDRAM window
configuration in a way that can be understood by the bootloader "boot
info" mechanism.

This commit extends the mvebu-mbus driver to provide suspend/resume
support. Since mvebu-mbus is not a platform_driver, the syscore_ops
mechanism is used to get ->suspend() and ->resume() hooks called into
the driver.
In those hooks, we save and restore the MBus windows state, to make
sure after resume all Mbus windows are properly restored. Note that
while the state of some windows could be gathered by looking again at
the Device Tree (for statically described windows), it is not the case
of dynamically described windows such as the PCIe memory and I/O
windows. Therefore, we take the simple approach of saving and
restoring the registers for all MBus windows.
In addition, the commit extends the Device Tree binding of the MBus
controller, to control the MBus bridge registers (which define which
parts of the physical address space is routed to MBus windows
vs. normal RAM memory). Those registers must be saved and restored
during suspend/resume. The Device Tree binding extension is made is a
backward compatible fashion, but of course, suspend/resume will not
work without the Device Tree update.

Commit f1bee783dd moved the call to hook_fault_code in
brcmstb_gisb_arb_probe() which now calls a function annotated with __init, so
this one must also be annotated with __init.
In order to avoid introducing another section mismatch, call
platform_driver_probe() manually and remove the .probe assignment from
brcmstb_gisb_arb_driver, this is very similar to what
drivers/pci/host/pci-imx6.c does since we basically have the same constraints
here.

On certain SoCs such as AM437x SoC, L3_noc error registers are
maintained in power domain such as per domain which looses context as part
of low power state such as RTC+DDR mode. On these platforms when we
mask interrupts which we cannot handle, the source of these interrupts
still remain on resume, however, the flag mux registers now contain
their reset value (unmasked) - this breaks the system with infinite
interrupts since we do not these interrupts to take place ever again.
To handle this: restore the masking of interrupts which we have
already recorded in the system as ones we cannot handle.

the following errors:
omap_l3_smx omap_l3_smx.0: couldn't request debug irq
omap_l3_smx: probe of omap_l3_smx.0 failed with error -22
This is because we don't have handling in the driver for the
compatible property and instead assume platform data being
passed.
Note that this binding is already documented, and implemented
for the related omap_l3_noc driver for omap4 and later. Looks
like the binding somehow never got never implemented for this
omap_l3_smx driver though.

The ARM CPU PMUs and the ARM CCI PMU are using the same framework
despite being substantially different in programming model, which makes
it difficult to handle either particularly well.
This patch migrates the ARM CCI PMU driver away from the arm_pmu
framework, matching the style of the CCN PMU driver and other 'uncore'
PMU drivers. This will enable refactoring of the arm_pmu framework to
better support CPU PMUs. Event context migration on hotplug is not yet
added due to a race on event->ctx in the core perf code.

A handful of driver-related changes. We've had a bunch of them going in through
other branches as well, so it's only a part of what we really have this release.
Larger pieces are:
* Removal of a now unused PWM driver for atmel

* Performance counter support for the arm CCN interconnect
* OMAP mailbox driver cleanups and consolidation
* PCI and SATA PHY drivers for SPEAr 13xx platforms
* Redefinition (with backwards compatibility!) of PCI DT bindings for Tegra to
better model regulators/power.

"A handful of driver-related changes. We've had a bunch of them going
in through other branches as well, so it's only a part of what we
really have this release.
Larger pieces are:
- Removal of a now unused PWM driver for atmel
[ This includes AVR32 changes that have been appropriately acked ]
- Performance counter support for the arm CCN interconnect
- OMAP mailbox driver cleanups and consolidation
- PCI and SATA PHY drivers for SPEAr 13xx platforms
- Redefinition (with backwards compatibility!) of PCI DT bindings for
Tegra to better model regulators/power"
Note: this merge also fixes up the semantic conflict with the new
calling convention for devm_phy_create(), see commit f0ed817638 ("phy:
core: Let node ptr of PHY point to PHY and not of PHY provider") that
came in through Greg's USB tree.

The bitfield allocation function returns error condition
as a negative value, but in two cases its result
was assigned to an unsigned member of the hw_perf_event
structure, thus the error would not be ever detected.
Fixed by using an intermediate, signed variable.

In commit ae91d60ba8, a bug was fixed that
involved converting !x & y to !(x & y). The code below shows the same
pattern, and thus should perhaps be fixed in the same way.

(
!E1 & !E2

The CCN driver makes no sense without PERF_EVENTS, and trying to
build it when that option is disabled results in compile errors,
so it's best to just add a strong Kconfig dependency.

There could be some memory map devices located in
a certain chip select region of the i.MX WEIM.
The devices could be attached to a simple bus(for
example, a AXI bus) whose root node is one child
device tree node of the i.MX WEIM device tree node.
There should be a bridge(very likely, software
transparent) bewteen the i.MX WEIM and the simple bus.
This patch makes the i.MX WEIM driver possible to
populate devices on a simple bus. In this way, people
may try various IPs(in a FPGA, maybe) outside of i.MX
chips with the i.MX WEIM embedded.

Russell writes:
These updates fix one bug in the component helper where the matched
components are not properly cleaned up when the master fails to bind.
I'll provide a version of this for stable trees if it's deemed that
we need to backport it.
The second patch causes the component helper to ignore duplicate
matches when adding components - this is something that was originally
needed for imx-drm, but since that has now been updated, we no longer
need to skip over a component which has already been matched.
The final patch starts the process of updating the component helper
API to achieve two goals: to allow the API to be more efficient when
deferred probing occurs, and to allow for future improvements to the
component helper without having a major impact on the users.
This represents groundwork for some other changes; once this has been
merged, I will then send two further pull requests (one for the staging
tree, and one for the DRM tree) to update the drivers to the new API.
This will result in these three commits being shared with those trees.
devm_request_and_ioremap() was obsoleted by the commit 7509657
("lib: devres: Introduce devm_ioremap_resource()") and has been
deprecated for a long time. So, let's remove this function.
In addition, all usages of devm_request_and_ioremap() are also
removed.

The arm-cci code uses device tree helpers for initialization
that don't work on kernels built without CONFIG_OF. Further,
it contains an inline assembly in cci_enable_port_for_self()
that uses ARMv7 instructions and fails to build when targetting
other ARM instruction set versions.
This works around both issues by limiting the scope of the
Kconfig symbol to platforms that can actually build this driver
cleanly.

SoC-near driver changes that we're merging through our tree. Mostly
because they depend on other changes we have staged, but in some cases
because the driver maintainers preferred that we did it this way.
This contains a largeish cleanup series of the omap_l3_noc bus driver,
cpuidle rework for Exynos, some reset driver conversions and a long
branch of TI EDMA fixes and cleanups, with more to come next release.
The TI EDMA cleanups is a shared branch with the dmaengine tree, with
a handful of Davinci-specific fixes on top.
After discussion at last year's KS (and some more on the mailing lists),
we are here adding a drivers/soc directory. The purpose of this is
to keep per-vendor shared code that's needed by different drivers but
that doesn't fit into the MFD (nor drivers/platform) model. We expect
to keep merging contents for this hierarchy through arm-soc so we can
keep an eye on what the vendors keep adding here and not making it a
free-for-all to shove in crazy stuff.

The versatile express changes for 3.16 introduced a number of
build regressions for randconfig kernels by not tracking dependencies
between the components right.
This patch tries to rectify that:
* the mach-vexpress code cannot link without the syscfg driver,
which in turn needs MFD_VEXPRESS_SYSREG
* various drivers call devm_regmap_init_vexpress_config(), which
has to be exported so it can be used by loadable modules
* the configuration bus uses OF DT helper functions that are not
available to platforms disable CONFIG_OF
* The sysreg driver exports GPIOs through gpiolib, which can
be disabled on some platforms.
* The clocksource code cannot be built on platforms that don't
use modern timekeeping but rely on gettimeoffset.

This patch adds support for the Broadcom GISB arbiter bus timeout/error
handler. GISB is a proprietary bus used by Broadcom Set Top Box
System-on-a-chip devices (BCM7xxx) which allows multiple masters and
clients to be interfaced with each other.
The bus arbiter offers support for generating two interrupts towards the
host CPU, thus allowing us to "catch" clock gated masters, or masters
being volontarily blocked for powersaving purposes, or do general system
troubleshooting.
We also register a hook with the ARM fault exception handling to allow
printing a more informative message than "imprecise external abort at
0x00000000" for instance.

Components of the Versatile Express platform (configuration
microcontrollers on motherboard and daughterboards in particular)
talk to each other over a custom configuration bus. They
provide miscellaneous functions (from clock generator control
to energy sensors) which are represented as platform devices
(and Device Tree nodes). The transactions on the bus can
be generated by different "bridges" in the system, some
of which are universal for the whole platform (for the price
of high transfer latencies), others restricted to a subsystem
(but much faster).
Until now drivers for such functions were using custom "func"
API, which is being replaced in this patch by regmap calls.
This required:
* a rework (and move to drivers/bus directory, as suggested
by Samuel and Arnd) of the config bus core, which is much
simpler now and uses device model infrastructure (class)
to keep track of the bridges; non-DT case (soon to be
retired anyway) is simply covered by a special device
registration function
* the new config-bus driver also takes over device population,
so there is no need for special matching table for
of_platform_populate nor "simple-bus" hack in the arm64
model dtsi file (relevant bindings documentation has
been updated); this allows all the vexpress devices
fit into normal device model, making it possible
to remove plenty of early inits and other hacks in
the near future
* adaptation of the syscfg bridge implementation in the
sysreg driver, again making it much simpler; there is
a special case of the "energy" function spanning two
registers, where they should be both defined in the tree
now, but backward compatibility is maintained in the code
* modification of the relevant drivers:
* hwmon - just a straight-forward API change
* power/reset driver - API change
* regulator - API change plus error handling
simplification
* osc clock driver - this one required larger rework
in order to turn in into a standard platform driver

Add AM4372 information to handle L3 error.
AM4372 has two clk domains 100f and 200s. Provide flagmux and data
associated with it.
NOTE: Timeout doesn't have STDERRLOG_MAIN register. And per hardware
team, L3 timeout error cannot be cleared the normal way (by setting
bit 31 in STDERRLOG_MAIN), instead it may be required to do system
reset. L3 error handler can't help in such scenarios.
Hence indicate timeout target offset as L3_TARGET_NOT_SUPPORTED as
done for undocumented bits.

DRA7 is distinctly different from OMAP4 in terms of masters and clock
domain organization. There two main clock domains which is divided as
follows:
<0x44000000 0x1000000> is clk1 and clk2 is the sub clock domain
<0x45000000 0x1000> is clk3
Add all the data needed to handle L3 error handling on DRA7 devices
and mark clk2 as subdomain and provide a compatible flag for
functionality. Other than the data difference the hardware blocks
involved are essentially the same.

While OMAP4 and OMAP5 had 3 separate clock domains, DRA7 has only 2
and the first one then is internally divided into 2 sub clock domains.
To better represent this in the driver, we use the concept of submodule.
The address defintions in the devicetree is as per the high level
clock domain(module) base, the sub clockdomain/subdomain which shares
the same register space of a clockdomain is marked in the SoC data as
L3_BASE_IS_SUBMODULE.
L3_BASE_IS_SUBMODULE is used as an indication that it's base address is
the same as the parent module and offsets are considered from the same
base address as they are usually intermingled.
Other than the base address, the submodule is same as a module as it is
functionally so.

L3 error may be triggered using Debug interface (example JTAG) or
due to other errors, for example an opcode fetch (due to function
pointer or stack corruption) or a data access (due to some other
failure). NOC registers contain additional information to help aid
debug information.
With this, we can enhance the error information to more detailed form:

Today we get error such as
L3 Custom Error: MASTER MPU TARGET L4PER2
But since the actual instruction triggerring the error Vs the point
at which we report error may not be aligned, it makes sense to try
and provide additional information - example the type of operation
that was attempted to being performed can help narrow the debug down
further.
This helps provide log such as:

Errors that cannot be cleared (determined by reading REGERR register)
are currently handled by masking it. Documentation states that REGERR
"Checks which application/debug error sources are active" - it does not
indicate that this is "interrupt status" - masked out status represented
eventually in the irq line to MPU.
For example:
Lets say module 0 bit 8(0x100) was unclearable, we do the mask it from
generating further errors. However in the following cases:
a) bit 9 of Module 0
OR
b) any bit of Module 1+
occur, the interrupt handler wrongly assumes that the raw interrupt
status of module 0 bit 8 is the root cause of the interrupt, and
returns. This causes unhandled interrupt and resultant infinite
interrupts.
Fix this scenario by storing the events we masked out and masking raw
status with masked ones before identifying and handling the error.

Current interrupt handler does the first level parse to identify the
slave and then handles the slave even identification, reporting and
clearing of event as well. It is hence logical to split the handler
into two where the primary handler just parses the flagmux till it
identifies a slave and the slave handling, reporting and clearing is
done in a helper function.

As per Documentation (OMAP4+), then masterid is infact encoded as
follows:
"L3_TARG_STDERRLOG_MSTADDR[7:0] STDERRLOG_MSTADDR stores the NTTP
master address. The master address is the concatenation of Prefix &
Initiator ConnID. It is defined on 8 bits. The 6 MSBs are used to
distinguish the different initiators."
So, when we matchup currently with the master ID list, we never get a
proper match other than when MPU is the master (thanks to 0).
Now, on other platforms such as AM437x, this tends to be bits[5:0].
Fix this by using the relevant 6MSBits to identify the master ID for
standard and custom errors.

On DRA7, unlike on OMAP4 and OMAP5, the flag mux input numbers used
to indicate the source of errors are not continous. Have a way in the
driver to catch these and WARN the user of the flag mux input thats
either undocumented or wrong.
In the similar vein, Timeout errors in AM43x can't be cleared per h/w
team, neither does it have a STDERRLOG_MAIN to clear the error.
Further, the mux bit offset might not even be indexed into our array
of known mux input description, in which case we'd have a abort.
So, define a static range check for bit description and any definition
which has target_name set to NULL (the ones that are not populated or
ones that are specifically marked in the case of discontinous input
numbers), can handle the same gracefully. Upon occurance of error from
such sources, mask it. Otherwise, we'd have an infinite interrupt
source without any means to clear it.
NOTE: follow on patch ensures that these masked bits are ignored.

Currently the target instance information is organized indexed by bit
field offset into multiple arrays.
1. We currently have offsets specific to each target associated with each
clock domains are in seperate arrays:
l3_targ_inst_clk1
l3_targ_inst_clk2
l3_targ_inst_clk3
2. Then they are organized per master index in l3_targ.
3. We have names in l3_targ_inst_name as an array to array of strings
corresponding to the above with offsets.
Simplify the same by defining a structure for information containing
both target offset and name. this is then stored in arrays per domain
and organized into an array indexed off domain.
The array is still indexed based on bit field offset.

Until now, the mvebu-mbus was guessing by itself whether hardware I/O
coherency was available or not by poking into the Device Tree to see
if the coherency fabric Device Tree node was present or not.
However, on some upcoming SoCs, the presence or absence of the
coherency fabric DT node isn't sufficient: in CONFIG_SMP, the
coherency can be enabled, but not in !CONFIG_SMP.
In order to clean this up, the mvebu_mbus_dt_init() function is
extended to get a boolean argument telling whether coherency is
enabled or not. Therefore, the logic to decide whether coherency is
available or not now belongs to the core SoC code instead of the
mvebu-mbus driver itself, which is much better.

Having multiple windows with the same target and attribute is actually
legal, and can be useful for PCIe windows, when PCIe BARs have a size
that isn't a power of two, and we therefore need to create several
MBus windows to cover the PCIe BAR for a given PCIe interface.

The mbus hardware requires a power of two size, and size aligned base.
Currently, if a non-power of two is passed in to the low level routines
they configure the register in a way that results in undefined behaviour.
Call WARN and return EINVAL instead.
Also, update the debugfs routines to show a message if there is an
invalid register setting.
All together this makes the recent problems with silent failure
of PCI very obvious, noisy and debuggable.

These changes are mostly for ARM specific device drivers that either
don't have an upstream maintainer, or that had the maintainer ask
us to pick up the changes to avoid conflicts. A large chunk of this
are clock drivers (bcm281xx, exynos, versatile, shmobile), aside from
that, reset controllers for STi as well as a large rework of the

For imx50-weim and imx6q-weim type of devices, there might a WEIM CS
space configuration register in General Purpose Register controller,
e.g. IOMUXC_GPR1 on i.MX6Q.
Depending on which configuration of the following 4 is chosen for given
system, IOMUXC_GPR1[11:0] should be set up as 05, 033, 0113 or 01111
correspondingly.
CS0(128M) CS1(0M) CS2(0M) CS3(0M)

CS0(64M) CS1(32M) CS2(32M) CS3(0M)
CS0(32M) CS1(32M) CS2(32M) CS3(32M)
The patch creates a function for such type of devices, which scans
'ranges' property of WEIM node and build the GPR value incrementally.
Thus the WEIM CS GPR can be set up automatically at boot time.

3. support for LPAE systems with all system memory above 4GB
4. Perf updates from Will Deacon
5. Additional prefetching and other performance improvements from Will.
6. Neon-optimised AES implementation fro Ard.
7. A number of smaller fixes scattered around the place.
There is a rather horrid merge conflict in tools/perf - I was never
notified of the conflict because it originally occurred between Will's
tree and other stuff. Consequently I have a resolution which Will
forwarded me, which I'll forward on immediately after sending this
mail.
The other notable thing is I'm expecting some build breakage in the
crypto stuff on ARM only with Ard's AES patches. These were merged
into a stable git branch which others had already pulled, so there's
little I can do about this. The problem is caused because these
patches have a dependency on some code in the crypto git tree - I
tried requesting a branch I can pull to resolve these, and all I got
each time from the crypto people was "we'll revert our patches then"
which would only make things worse since I still don't have the
dependent patches. I've no idea what's going on there or how to
resolve that, and since I can't split these patches from the rest of
this pull request, I'm rather stuck with pushing this as-is or
reverting Ard's patches.
Since it should "come out in the wash" I've left them in - the only
build problems they seem to cause at the moment are with randconfigs,
and since it's a new feature anyway. However, if by -rc1 the
dependencies aren't in, I think it'd be best to revert Ard's patches"
I resolved the perf conflict roughly as per the patch sent by Russell,
but there may be some differences. Any errors are likely mine. Let's
see how the crypto issues work out..

This branch contains mostly additions and changes to platform enablement
and SoC-level drivers. Since there's sometimes a dependency on device-tree
changes, there's also a fair amount of those in this branch.
Pieces worth mentioning are:
- Mbus driver for Marvell platforms, allowing kernel configuration
and resource allocation of on-chip peripherals.
- Enablement of the mbus infrastructure from Marvell PCI-e drivers.
- Preparation of MSI support for Marvell platforms.
- Addition of new PCI-e host controller driver for Tegra platforms
- Some churn caused by sharing of macro names between i.MX 6Q and 6DL
platforms in the device tree sources and header files.
- Various suspend/PM updates for Tegra, including LP1 support.
- Versatile Express support for MCPM, part of big little support.
- Allwinner platform support for A20 and A31 SoCs (dual and quad Cortex-A7)
- OMAP2+ support for DRA7, a new Cortex-A15-based SoC.
The code that touches other architectures are patches moving
MSI arch-specific functions over to weak symbols and removal of
ARCH_SUPPORTS_MSI, acked by PCI maintainers.

These changes from 30 individual branches for the most part update device
tree files, but there are also a few source code changes that have crept
in this time, usually in order to atomically move over a driver from
using hardcoded data to DT probing.
A number of platforms change their DT files to use the C preprocessor,
which is causing a bit of churn, but that is hopefully only this once.
There are a few conflicts with the other branches unfortunately:
* in exynos5440.dtsi and kirkwood-6281.dtsi, device nodes are added
from multiple branches. Need to be careful to have the right
set of closing braces as git gets this one wrong.
* In kirkwood.dtsi, one 'ranges' line got split into two lines, while
another line got added. Order of the lines does not matter.
* in sama5d3.dtsi, some cleanup was merged the wrong way, causing
a bogus conflict. We want the 'dmas' and 'dma-names' properties
to get added here.
* Two lines got removed independently in arch/arm/mach-mxs/mach-mxs.c
* Contents get added independently in arch/arm/mach-omap2/cclock33xx_data.c

These changes are all to SoC-specific code, a total of 33 branches on
17 platforms were pulled into this. Like last time, Renesas sh-mobile
is now the platform with the most changes, followed by OMAP and EXYNOS.
Two new platforms, TI Keystone and Rockchips RK3xxx are added in
this branch, both containing almost no platform specific code at all,
since they are using generic subsystem interfaces for clocks, pinctrl,
interrupts etc. The device drivers are getting merged through the
respective subsystem maintainer trees.
One more SoC (u300) is now multiplatform capable and several others
(shmobile, exynos, msm, integrator, kirkwood, clps711x) are moving
towards that goal with this series but need more work.
Also noteworthy is the work on PCI here, which is traditionally part of
the SoC specific code. With the changes done by Thomas Petazzoni, we can
now more easily have PCI host controller drivers as loadable modules and
keep them separate from the platform code in drivers/pci/host. This has
already led to the discovery that three platforms (exynos, spear and imx)
are actually using an identical PCIe host controller and will be able
to share a driver once support for spear and imx is added.
Conflicts:
* asm/glue-proc.h has one CPU type getting added that conflicts
with another addition in 3.10-rc7

This is purely cosmetic change, with the sole purpose of making
the code a bit more readable.

When we build a kernel with support for both ARMv6 and ARMv7,
gas is trying to be helpful by pointing out that the arm-cci
driver would not work on ARMv6:
/tmp/ccu1LDeU.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccu1LDeU.s:450: Error: selected processor does not support ARM mode `wfi '
/tmp/ccu1LDeU.s:451: Error: selected processor does not support ARM mode `wfe '

We know that the driver will only be used on ARMv7, hence we
can annotate the inline assembly listing to allow those instructions.

This provides cci_enable_port_for_self(). This is the counterpart to
cci_disable_port_by_cpu(self).
This is meant to be called from the MCPM machine specific power_up_setup
callback code when the appropriate affinity level needs to be initialized.
The code therefore has to be position independent as the MMU is still off
and it cannot rely on any stack space.

On ARM multi-cluster systems coherency between cores running on
different clusters is managed by the cache-coherent interconnect (CCI).
It allows broadcasting of TLB invalidates and memory barriers and it
guarantees cache coherency at system level through snooping of slave
interfaces connected to it.
This patch enables the basic infrastructure required in Linux to handle and
programme the CCI component.
Non-local variables used by the CCI management functions called by power
down function calls after disabling the cache must be flushed out to main
memory in advance, otherwise incoherency of those values may occur if they
are sitting in the cache of some other CPU when power down functions
execute. Driver code ensures that relevant data structures are flushed
from inner and outer caches after the driver probe is completed.
CCI slave port resources are linked to set of CPUs through bus masters
phandle properties that link the interface resources to masters node in
the device tree.
Documentation describing the CCI DT bindings is provided with the patch.

The new mvebu-mbus driver was not checking the device tree for
coherency fabric hardware and hence was not setting the hw_io_coherency
flag in mbus_state. This prevented the mvsdio driver from operating
correctly. This patch restores the check.

The Marvell EBU SoCs have a configurable physical address space
layout: the physical ranges of memory used to address PCI(e)
interfaces, NOR flashes, SRAM and various other types of memory are
configurable by software, through a mechanism of so-called 'address
decoding windows'.
This new driver mvebu-mbus consolidates the existing code to address
the configuration of these memory ranges, which is spread into
mach-mvebu, mach-orion5x, mach-mv78xx0, mach-dove and mach-kirkwood.
Following patches convert each Marvell EBU SoC family to use this
driver, therefore removing the old code that was configuring the
address decoding windows.
It is worth mentioning that the MVEBU_MBUS Kconfig option is
intentionally added as a blind option. The new driver implements and
exports the mv_mbus_dram_info() function, which is used by various
Marvell drivers throughout the tree to get access to window
configuration parameters that they require. This function is also
implemented in arch/arm/plat-orion/addr-map.c, which ultimately gets
removed at the end of this patch series. So, in order to preserve
bisectability, we want to ensure that *either* this new driver, *or*
the legacy code in plat-orion/addr-map.c gets compiled in.
By making MVEBU_MBUS a blind option, we are sure that only a platform
that does 'select MVEBU_MBUS' will get this new driver compiled
in. Therefore, throughout the next patches that convert the Marvell
sub-architectures one after the other to this new driver, we add the
'select MVEBU_MBUS' and also ensure to remove plat-orion/addr-map.c
from the build for this specific sub-architecture. This ensures that
bisectability is preserved.
Ealier versions of this driver had a DT binding, but since those were
not yet agreed upon, they were removed. The driver still uses
of_device_id to find the SoC specific details according to the string
passed to mvebu_mbus_init(). The plan is to re-introduce a proper DT
binding as a followup set of patches.
