Use that in tcg-op-common.h. Reorg headers in target/arm to

In preparation for compiling tcg/ only once, eliminate
the all_helpers array. Instantiate the info structs for
the generic helpers in accel/tcg/, and the structs for
the target-specific helpers in each translate.c.
Since we don't see all of the info structs at startup,
initialize at first use, using g_once_init_* to make
sure we don't race while doing so.

Introduce a new API for thread-local blk_io_plug() that does not
traverse the block graph. The goal is to make blk_io_plug() multi-queue
friendly.
Instead of having block drivers track whether or not we're in a plugged
section, provide an API that allows them to defer a function call until
we're unplugged: blk_io_plug_call(fn, opaque). If blk_io_plug_call() is
called multiple times with the same fn/opaque pair, then fn() is only
called once at the end of the function - resulting in batching.
This patch introduces the API and changes blk_io_plug()/blk_io_unplug().
blk_io_plug()/blk_io_unplug() no longer require a BlockBackend argument
because the plug state is now thread-local.
Later patches convert block drivers to blk_io_plug_call() and then we
can finally remove .bdrv_co_io_plug() once all block drivers have been
converted.

The Zicond standard extension implements the same instruction
semantics as XVentanaCondOps, although using different mnemonics and
opcodes.
Point XVentanaCondOps to the (newly implemented) Zicond implementation

Prebuilt flash volumes are included, built using upstream documentation.

This is a very rough and ready first pass at comparing gcovr's json
output between two different runs. At the moment it will give you a
file level diff between two runs but hopefully it wont be too hard to
extend to give better insight.
After generating the coverage results you run with something like:
./scripts/coverage/compare_gcov_json.py \
-a ./builds/gcov.config1/coverage.json \
-b ./builds/gcov.config2/coverage.json
My hope is we can use this to remove some redundancy from testing as
well as evaluate if new tests are actually providing additional
coverage or just burning our precious CI time.

- Various developers are reluctant to git Cirrus-CI the permissions
requested to access their GitHub account.
- When we use the cirrus-run script to trigger Cirrus-CI job from
GitLab-CI, the GitLab-CI job is restricted to a 1h timeout
(often not enough).
- Although Cirrus-CI VMs are more powerful than GitLab-CI ones,
its free plan is limited in 2 concurrent jobs.
- The GitLab-CI MSYS2 jobs are a 1:1 mapping with the Cirrus-CI ones
(modulo the environment caching).
Reduce the maintenance burden by removing the Cirrus-CI config file,
keeping the GitLab-CI jobs.
Update Yonggang Luo's maintenance file list to the new file, which
use the same environment shell.

Marek and Chris haven't been active for Nios II since years
(the last time seems to have been in 2017), and we've got
unhandled severe Nios II bug tickets in the bug tracker since
a long time, so to avoid wrong expectations of people who are
looking at the MAINTAINERS file, it's maybe best to mark the
Nios II entry as orphan nowadays.

When we introduced this Gitlab-CI job in commit 71920809ce
("gitlab-ci.yml: Add jobs to build EDK2 firmware binaries"),
the naive plan was to have reproducible binaries by downloading
what this job would build, testing it and eventually committing
it. With retrospective, nothing happened 3 years later and this
job is just bitrotting:

Currently when we encounter a gdb that is old or not built with
multiarch in mind we fail rather messily. Try and improve the
situation by probing ahead of time and setting
HOST_GDB_SUPPORTS_ARCH=y in the relevant tcg configs. We can then skip
and give a more meaningful message if we don't run the test.

The process was pretty similar to the softmmu move except we take the
time to split stuff between user.c and user-target.c to avoid as much
target specific compilation as possible. We also start to make use of
our shiny new header scheme so the user-only helpers can be included
without the rest of the exec/gsbstub.h cruft.
As before we split some functions into user and softmmu versions

related codes. Then we can drop 'enum CryptoDevBackendOptionsType'.

RISC-V ACPI related functionality for virt machine is added in

The TuxRun project (www.tuxrun.org) uses QEMU to run tests on a wide
variety of kernel configurations on wide range of our emulated
platforms. They publish a known good set of images at:
https://storage.tuxboot.com/
to help with bisecting regressions in either the kernel, firmware or
QEMU itself. The tests are pretty lightweight as they contain just a
kernel with a minimal rootfs which boots a lot faster than most of the
distros. In time they might be persuaded to version their known good
baselines and we can then enable proper checksums.
For a couple of tests we currently skip:
- mips64, a regression against previous stable release
- sh4, very unstable with intermittent oops
Total run time: 340s (default) -> 890s (debug)
Overall coverage rate (tested targets + disabled tests):
lines......: 16.1% (126894 of 789848 lines)
functions..: 20.6% (15954 of 77489 functions)
branches...: 9.3% (40727 of 439365 branches)

The watchpoint API is specific to TCG system emulation.

replay API is used deeply within TCG common code (common to user
and system emulation). Unfortunately "sysemu/replay.h" requires
some QAPI headers for few system-specific declarations, example:
void replay_input_event(QemuConsole *src, InputEvent *evt);
Since commit c2651c0eaa ("qapi/meson: Restrict UI module to system
emulation and tools") the QAPI header defining the InputEvent is
not generated anymore.
To keep it simple, extract the 'core' replay prototypes to a new
"exec/replay-core.h" header which we include in the TCG code that
doesn't need the rest of the replay API.

The QERR_ macros are leftovers from the days of "rich" error objects.
We've been trying to reduce their remaining use.
qmp_query_vm_generation_id() in stubs/vmgenid.c is the last user of
QERR_UNSUPPORTED outside qga/. Unlike the stubs we just dropped, it
is actually reachable, namely when CONFIG_ACPI_VMGENID is off. It
always fails like
(qemu) info vm-generation-id
Error: this feature or command is not currently supported
Turns out the real qmp_query_vm_generation_id() doesn't actually
depend on CONFIG_ACPI_VMGENID, and fails safely when it's off. Move
it to hw/core/machine-qmp-cmds.c, and drop the stub. The error
message becomes
Error: VM Generation ID device not found
Feels like an improvement to me.

The current docker image for cross compiling hexagon guests
is manually built since it takes >2 hours to build from source.
This patch:
1. Solves the above issue by using the prebuilt clang
toolchain hosted on CodeLinaro [1] and maintained by QUIC [2].
2. The dockerfile is also switched from multi-stage to single stage
build to allow the CI docker engine to reuse the layer cache.
3. Re-enables the hexagon-cross-container job to be always run in
CI and makes it a non-optional dependency for the
build-user-hexagon job.
The changes for 1 & 2 together bring down the build time to
~3 minutes in GitLab CI when cache is reused and ~9 minutes
when cache cannot be reused.

(using virtio transport) under tests/qtest/libqos/ to communicate with
QEMU's 9p server.

The maintainer is no longer being paid to maintain these components. All
maintainership work is being done in his personal time since the middle
of the 7.2 development cycle.
Change the status of PPC KVM CPUs, PPC TCG CPUs and the pSeries machine
to 'Odd Fixes', reflecting that the maintainer no longer has exclusive
time to dedicate to them. It'll also (hopefully) keep expectations under
check when/if these components are used in a customer product.

Emulation of PCIe Data Object Exchange (DOE)
PCIE Base Specification r6.0 6.3 Data Object Exchange
Supports multiple DOE PCIe Extended Capabilities for a single PCIe
device. For each capability, a static array of DOEProtocol should be passed
to pcie_doe_init(). The protocols in that array will be registered under
the DOE capability structure. For each protocol, vendor ID, type, and
corresponding callback function (handle_request()) should be implemented.
This callback function represents how the DOE request for corresponding
protocol will be handled.
pcie_doe_{read/write}_config() must be appended to corresponding PCI
device's config_read/write() handler to enable DOE access. In
pcie_doe_read_config(), false will be returned if pci_config_read()
offset is not within DOE capability range. In pcie_doe_write_config(),
the function will have no affect if the address is not within the related
DOE PCIE extended capability.

Changes to the build files are a bit special in that they usually go
through other maintainer trees. However considering the build system
is the root of everything a developer is likely to do we should at
least set it out in MAINTAINERS.
I'm going to nominate Paolo for meson stuff given the conversion was
his passion project. I'm happy to cast an eye over configure stuff
considering a lot of the cross compile logic is in there anyway.

Section "Block QAPI, monitor, command line" is about the external
interfaces we provide for block devices. It covers the relevant QAPI
schema parts, monitor and command line code, more or less.
The section's files are also covered by section "Block layer core",
except for the QAPI schema files.
I haven't acted as maintainer in this area for a long time. Make it
official: add the QAPI schema files to section "Block layer core", and
delete section "Block QAPI, monitor, command line".

Emulated devices and other BlockBackend users wishing to take advantage
of blk_register_buf() all have the same repetitive job: register
RAMBlocks with the BlockBackend using RAMBlockNotifier.
Add a BlockRAMRegistrar API to do this. A later commit will use this
from hw/block/virtio-blk.c.

libblkio (https://gitlab.com/libblkio/libblkio/) is a library for
high-performance disk I/O. It currently supports io_uring,
virtio-blk-vhost-user, and virtio-blk-vhost-vdpa with additional drivers
under development.
One of the reasons for developing libblkio is that other applications
besides QEMU can use it. This will be particularly useful for
virtio-blk-vhost-user which applications may wish to use for connecting
to qemu-storage-daemon.
libblkio also gives us an opportunity to develop in Rust behind a C API
that is easy to consume from QEMU.
This commit adds io_uring, nvme-io_uring, virtio-blk-vhost-user, and
virtio-blk-vhost-vdpa BlockDrivers to QEMU using libblkio. It will be
easy to add other libblkio drivers since they will share the majority of
code.
For now I/O buffers are copied through bounce buffers if the libblkio
driver requires it. Later commits add an optimization for
pre-registering guest RAM to avoid bounce buffers.
The syntax is:

JEDEC STANDARD JESD216 for Serial Flash Discovery Parameters (SFDP)
provides a mean to describe the features of a serial flash device
using a set of internal parameter tables.
This is the initial framework for the RDSFDP command giving access to
a private SFDP area under the flash. This area now needs to be
populated with the flash device characteristics, using a new
'sfdp_read' handler under FlashPartInfo.

Make vhost-user-blk backwards compatible when migrating from older VMs
running with modern features turned off, the same way it was done for
virtio-blk in 20764be042 ("virtio-blk: set config size depending on the features enabled")
It's currently impossible to migrate from an older VM with
vhost-user-blk (with disable-legacy=off) because of errors like this:

This is caused by the newer (destination) VM requiring a bigger BAR0
alignment because it has to cover a bigger configuration space, which
isn't actually needed since those additional config fields are not
active (write-zeroes/discard).

We don't have a virtio-gpio implementation in QEMU and only
support a vhost-user backend. The QEMU side of the code is minimal so
it should be enough to instantiate the device and pass some vhost-user
messages over the control socket. To do this we hook into the existing
vhost-user-test code and just add the bits required for gpio.
